Applied Parameters: AllLibraries=False

Summary

This command is used to refresh the content of the active library in the Libraries panel. This can be especially useful when multiple users are working from a shared library (over the network).

Access

Right-click in the Component or Models regions of the Libraries panel, and choose Refresh Library from the context menu.

Use

After launching the command, the contents of the active library will be refreshed.

Tips

This command is useful only when other users may have edited the shared library you are all working from. If you yourself make a change to the source library, the change will be seen and updated automatically in the Libraries panel for your installation.


Applied Parameters: AllLibraries=True

Summary

This command is used to refresh the content of all Available Libraries in the Libraries panel. This can be especially useful when multiple users are working from shared libraries (over the network).

Access

Right-click in the Component or Models regions of the Libraries panel, and choose Refresh All from the context menu.

Use

After launching the command, the contents of all Available Libraries will be refreshed.

Tips

The Available Libraries are comprised of Project Libraries, Installed Libraries, and any libraries found along specified search paths for the project.

This command is useful only when other users may have edited any of the shared libraries you are all working from. If you yourself make a change to the source library, the change will be seen and updated automatically in the Libraries panel for your installation.
