Applied Parameters: None

This command is used to delete objects from the current document. The object(s) do not need to be selected prior to using this command.

This command can be accessed from the Schematic Editor and the Schematic Library Editor, by choosing the Edit » Delete command from the main menus.

After launching the command, the cursor changes to a crosshair and you will enter object deletion mode. Simply position the cursor over an object and click or press Enter to delete it. Continue deleting further objects, or right-click, or press Esc, to exit object deletion mode.

  1. Using this command, you are free to individually delete any objects - selected or not - without affecting the selection status of any other objects in the workspace.
  2. All deletions can be restored by using the Undo command.
  3. If an object is locked and you try to delete it, you will be prompted with a confirmation dialog alerting you to this, and asking if you want to continue.
