Summary
This command is used to make a duplicate of the selected object(s) in the current document.
Access
This command can be accessed from the Schematic Editor and the Schematic Library Editor, by:
- Choosing the Edit » Duplicate command from the main menus.
- Using the Ctrl+D keyboard shortcut.
The command only becomes available provided at least one object is selected in the design workspace.
Use
First, ensure that all objects that you wish to duplicate are selected in the main design workspace.
After launching the command, the duplicate objects are created and placed next to their originals.
Tips
- The original objects are deselected and the duplicate objects selected, after running this command.
