The following pre-packaged resources, derived from this base command, are available:


Applied Parameters: _Value_=Solid

Summary

This command is used to change the line style for the selected design object to Solid, where applicable.

Access

This command is accessed from the Schematic Editor by clicking the  button on the Line Style drop-down () of the Formatting toolbar.

Use

First, ensure that the object whose line style you wish to change, is selected in the main design workspace.

After launching the command, the object's line style will be set to Solid, changing graphically in the workspace.

Tips

  1. This feature will only be available if applicable to the currently selected object. That is, it has a Line Style property. Only Blanket and Polyline objects have this property.
  2. You can select multiple objects to have their Line Style changed using this feature.


Applied Parameters: _Value_=Dashed

Summary

This command is used to change the line style for the selected design object to Dashed, where applicable.

Access

This command is accessed from the Schematic Editor by clicking the  button on the Line Style drop-down () of the Formatting toolbar.

Use

First, ensure that the object whose line style you wish to change, is selected in the main design workspace.

After launching the command, the object's line style will be set to Dashed, changing graphically in the workspace.

Tips

  1. This feature will only be available if applicable to the currently selected object. That is, it has a Line Style property. Only Blanket and Polyline objects have this property.
  2. You can select multiple objects to have their Line Style changed using this feature.

This command is used to change the line style for the selected design object to Dotted, where applicable.

After launching the command, the object's line style will be set to Dash-Dotted, changing graphically in the workspace.

  3. The Dash-Dotted line style enables designs to meet GOST requirements. GOST stipulates the use of the dash-dotted line style when drawing a device on a schematic sheet (on the board it’s used to show a holes’ center line).
