Applied Parameters: None

Summary

This command is used to offset the current selection of objects by a precise amount in X and/or Y directions.

Access

This command can be accessed from the Schematic Editor and the Schematic Library Editor, by choosing the Edit » Move » Move Selection by X, Y command from the main menus.

Use

First ensure that the objects to be moved using this feature are selected in the design workspace.

After launching the command, the Move Selection by X, Y dialog will appear. Use this dialog to specify delta X and/or delta Y increment values, by which to move the selection. After clicking OK, the selection will be moved accordingly.

Tips

  1. If an object is locked and you try to move it, you will be prompted with a confirmation dialog alerting you to this, and asking if you want to continue.
