Publishing Destinations offer the ability to publish release data for an Item Revision directly from a managed content server or Output Job to a storage space. This dialog provides controls to connect a account to Altium Designer in order to use the storage space as a publishing destination.

If you do not have an existing account, you will need to create one before entering information in this dialog.


This dialog is accessed from the Data Management - Publishing Destinations page of the Preferences dialog by clicking the Add Destination button then selecting from the drop-down menu.



  • Name - enter a meaningful name for the publishing destination. Account

  • Activate - click to open the Activate Account dialog and enter your credentials.
  • Edit Activation Key - click this button to open the Activation Key dialog and enter or edit the activation key.


  • Folder - click  then select a folder within the storage space in which to save published data. credentials must be verified before selecting a folder.


  • Zip Contents - check this option to publish data in a compressed format.
    • Use Password - check this option to require a password to extract content from the compressed file then enter the desired password in the text field below this option.
