Applied Parameters: Scope=All

Summary

This command is used to update all PCBs in the active Multi-board Assembly document (*.MbaDoc) with the latest layout information from their corresponding child PCB documents.

Access

This command can be accessed from the Multi-board Assembly Editor by:

  • Choosing the Edit » Update All Parts command from the main menus.
  • Clicking the  button on the MBA Toolbar toolbar.
  • Using the Shift+Ctrl+U keyboard shortcut.
  • Right-clicking anywhere in the workspace and choosing the Update All Parts command from the context menu.

Use

After launching the command, all PCB parts in the assembly will be updated to reflect the latest version of their respective child PCB document.


Applied Parameters: Scope=Selected

Summary

This command is used to update the currently selected PCBs in the active Multi-board Assembly document (*.MbaDoc) with the latest layout information from their corresponding child PCB documents.

Access

With at least one PCB selected in the workspace, this command can be accessed from the Multi-board Assembly Editor by:

  • Choosing the Edit » Update Selected Part command from the main menus.
  • Using the Ctrl+U keyboard shortcut.
  • Right-clicking anywhere in the workspace and choosing the Update Selected Part command from the context menu.

Use

After launching the command, all currently selected PCB parts in the assembly will be updated to reflect the latest version of their respective child PCB document.


Applied Parameters: Scope=Selected3DBody

Summary

This command is used to update all 3D Bodies in the active Multi-board Assembly document (*.MbaDoc) with the latest layout information from their corresponding child PCB documents.

Access

With at least one 3D Body selected in the workspace, this command can be accessed from the Multi-board Assembly Editor by:

  • Choosing the Edit » Update Selected 3D Body command from the main menus.
  • Right-clicking anywhere in the workspace and choosing the Update Selected 3D Body command from the context menu.

Use

After launching the command, all 3D Body parts in the assembly will be updated to reflect the latest version of their respective child PCB document.
