Summary

This dialog allows you to quickly jump to a specific Net within the design workspace, by specifying the Net's name.

If the target Net is already displayed within the main design window, the cursor will simply jump to the nearest design object that is a member of that Net. If the Net is out of view, the cursor will be positioned at the nearest design object that is a member of that Net, centered within the main design window (where possible).

Access

The dialog can be accessed from the PCB Editor by clicking Edit » Jump » Net from the main menus.

You can also use the J, N keyboard sequence directly from within the focused workspace.

Options/Controls

  • Net Name - use this field to specify the name of the Net that you wish to jump to. The name of the Net must be entered in its entirety. Alternatively, enter ? and click OK. The Nets Loaded dialog will appear, listing all Nets for the design. Use this dialog to quickly locate the Net that you wish to jump to.
