Applied Parameters: ClassicView=True

Summary

This command is used to place the Component Library Editor in its Batch Editor mode - essentially the classic view for the editor found in previous releases. This mode facilitates the definition and release of multiple components.

Access

This command can be accessed from the Component Library Editor when configured in Single Component Editor mode by:

  • Choosing the Tools » Switch to Batch Editor command from the main menus.
  • Pressing the T key and then choosing the Switch to Batch Editor command from the pop-up menu (or by using the keyboard sequence T, B).

Use

After launching the command, the editor will appear in its classical view, providing batch editing of components for release to the target server.

This command is used to place the Component Library Editor in its Single Component Editor mode - a streamlined interface that facilitates the definition and release of a single component.

Access

This command can be accessed from the Component Library Editor when configured in Batch Editor mode by:

  • Choosing the Tools » Switch to Single Component Editor command from the main menus.
  • Pressing the T key and then choosing the Switch to Single Component Editor command from the pop-up menu (or by using the keyboard sequence T, S).

Use

After launching the command, the editor will appear in its Single Component Editor mode, providing for streamline creation/editing of a single server component.
