The Object Class Name dialog
The Object Class Name dialog


The Object Class Name dialog allows you to specify the name for a new class. The class can be then viewed in the Object Class Explorer dialog.


The dialog is accessed from the PCB editor in the following ways:

  • Click Design » Netlist » Create NetClass from Selected Nets command from the main menus with the required Nets selected in the workspace.
  • Right-click over a design object that is part of the selection, then click Net Actions » Create NetClass from Selected Nets from the context menu.
  • Click the New Polygon Class button in the Polygon Pour Manager dialog (Tools » Polygon Pours » Polygon Manager).


  • Class Name - use this field to specify the required name for the new class.
