Benefits of the Altium Educator Center
The Altium Educator Center was designed to help ensure your students receive a well-rounded
education that prepares them for real-world challenges in the electronics industry.
Students gain hands-on PCB design experience using the same tools professionals use—building practical skills that prepare them for future careers in electronics.
Note: Student licenses are not included in the Educator Center. Students can enroll for free access through the Altium Student Lab.
Faculty receive structured training and ready-to-use materials that simplify course planning and delivery.
Explore the Educators Guide & Resource Library for podcasts, videos, and articles designed to help you get the most out of Altium.
Includes ready-to-teach materials, tutorials, and projects that help you cover both basic and advanced electronics design concepts. The curriculum supports real college-level courses like Robotics, Power Electronics, and Electrical Engineering.
Educators earn certificates of completion and digital badges for professional training, while students receive badges and certificates as they complete course materials. This provides clear, shareable proof of progress and achievement for everyone.

Sabrina Yarzada
UC Davis, Senior Electrical & Computer Engineering
“I was first introduced to Altium Designer through the EE Emerge Course at UC Davis. Having Altium designer skills gave me an edge among other applicants in getting interviews and ultimately landing me an internship at NASA Jet Propulsion Labs”

Andre Knoesen
UC Davis, Chair Electrical and Computer Engineering
“One of the most important things for our EE or CE students is gaining knowledge of Altium Designer. Students' skills in Altium Designer help them attain high visibility with employers and it is often the differentiator among other applicants as they are looking for internships or jobs upon graduation.”
