Altium Designer Develop – Released: 26 August 2026, Version 26.10.0 (build 5)
Altium Designer Agile – Released: 26 August 2026, Version 26.10.0 (build 24)
Altium Designer – Released: 26 August 2026, Version 26.10.0 (build 4)

Schematic
70630 It was not possible to add/edit the Pin Swap Group for a pin of the active symbol in the Schematic Library editor, through the SCHLIB List panel. In addition, if Pin Swapping had not yet been defined for a pin, clicking on the Pin Swap Group cell for that pin in the SCHLIB List panel would result in the error "List index out of bounds" being encountered. (BC:27524)
70843 When placing a blanket on a schematic, if the last left-click didn't create a corner before right-clicking, the feature would end without blanket creation, rather than closing the loop automatically. (BC:27593)
71848 When opening a design project created prior to Altium Designer 21.9, the 'New Indexing of Sheet Symbols' option (on the Options tab of the Project Options dialog), while displayed as enabled, was confusingly treated as being disabled by the Compiler unless the dialog was saved with any changes being made. Now, this option is disabled by default when opening such a legacy design and must explicitly be enabled to avoid unexpected changes in the compilation results.
PCB
69619 Introduced advanced 'Via Fencing' functionality (Shielding and Stitching) through the Properties panel. It is now possible to place stacked vias into the shielding and to apply different shielding via patterns to the same net on different layers. It is also possible to fence by geometry edge (polygonal-shaped objects or the board outline) and follow the 'inner' or 'outer' side of the selected geometry. (Requires the PCB.AdvancedViaFencing advanced settings option to be enabled). (I:10781, I:18751)
70006 In some cases when working with the via shielding feature in a PCB document, an Access Violation (in module "ADVPCB.DLL") would be encountered.
70007 In some cases when using the Query Builder while defining a custom query for a rule in the PCB Rules and Constraints Editor dialog, an Access Violation (in module "ADVPCB.DLL") would be encountered.
70730 In some cases when attempting to import a PCB document created with Altium CircuitMaker, the error "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" would be encountered.
71136 In a specific case, deleting a particular Matched Lengths design rule (through the PCB Rules and Constraints Editor dialog) and then saving the PCB, would result in an Access Violation (in module "ADVPCB.DLL") being encountered.
71149 With the PCB panel in its Unions mode, unions (e.g., Via Shieldings, Via Stitchings, etc) are now displayed with an integer suffix (e.g., Via Shieldings 1, Via Stitchings 1, etc). (Requires the PCB.AdvancedViaFencing advanced settings option to be enabled).
71152 In some cases, adding via shielding to a net would lead to shielding vias being placed in violation of Clearance rules. (Requires the PCB.AdvancedViaFencing advanced settings option to be enabled). (BC:22648)
71361 When using a via template when applying via stitching, the tenting setting for solder mask expansion (defined in the template) was not being applied for the vias placed in the stitching pattern. (Requires the PCB.AdvancedViaFencing advanced settings option to be enabled). (BC:18490)
71444 In some cases, after deleting a 'Via Stitchings' union (from the PCB panel in its Unions mode), some vias were still presenting in the design space as 'stitching' vias rather than free vias (as expected). (Requires the PCB.AdvancedViaFencing advanced settings option to be enabled). (BC:18657)
71456 For a specific design, using the automatic length tuning feature to match phase (set to 'Within Pair Matching' and with specific constraints) would result in one side of a differential pair becoming 'over tuned', rather than phase matched as expected. (BC:27828)
71617 When configuring advanced object visibility for objects on the silkscreen layers (via the View Configuration panel), changes to the visibility of track was not reflected back in the design space.
71619 With the PCB.Polygon.AdvancedPour option enabled (Advanced Settings) and for a specific design, repouring polygon pours and running a DRC would unexpectedly flag clearance constraint violations between polygon pours and differential pair tracks. Repouring with the option disabled would result in no violations.
71639 In some cases when creating a new polygon pour from a board outline (through the Polygon Pour Manager dialog), and with the default pour mode for a polygon set to 'Hatched' in preferences, the error "Object accessed after being destroyed..." would be encountered.
71642 In some cases when moving placed primitives from a signal layer to a non-signal layer and then using the Undo command, an Access Violation (in module "X2.EXE") would be encountered.
71694 When creating a CAPAE, Chip Array, DFN, CHIP, MOLDED, PLCC, PQFN, QFN, QFN-2ROW, SOIC, SON, SOP/TSOP, SOT143/343, SOT223, SOT23, SOT89, SOTFL, or Wire Wound package footprint model using the IPC Compliant Footprint Wizard, the generated STEP model was being incorrectly created using 'Nominal' dimensions, instead of 'Maximum' dimensions as expected. (BC:27929)
71739 Added a new advanced settings option 'PCB.IPCWizard.DedicatedLayerAssignment' that, when enabled, assigns dedicated layers for Component Center and Designator primitives and automatically creates Assembly/Courtyard layer pairs. Keep this option disabled to prevent compatibility issues with existing libraries and templates that were created prior to Altium Designer 26.7.
71740 In some cases when generating ODB++ fabrication data, small size arcs would be incorrectly exported as circles, causing unexpected short circuits between different nets in a design.
71808 Due to an issue raised that affects NC Drill and ODB++ outputs, the 'Via Instancing' feature, delivered by the PCB.ViaInstancing option (Advanced Settings), is now returned to the Open Beta state with this release, to allow for investigation.
71812 With the PCB.Polygon.AdvancedPour.NoDiffusion option enabled (Advanced Settings), and while using the advanced polygon pour engine (PCB.Polygon.AdvancedPour option also enabled), repouring of hatched polygons would result in no clearance being applied and the polygons overlapping.
71869 For a specific PCB and for some vias of type IPC 4761 Type 7, the 'Capping' via feature, defined through a via template in a Pad Via Library, was not being brought into the PCB design after placing such vias from the PCB Pad Via Templates panel. The 'Capping' feature was not present for such a selected via in the Properties panel and, as a result of this feature missing, nothing was displayed for these vias on the Capping layer within the PCB design space, nor in generated outputs.
72015 In some cases, with the PCB.ViaInstancing option enabled (Advanced Settings) and after using the 'Remove Unused Pad Shapes' feature, the annular rings for some pads were not being displayed correctly in the design space (all was correctly present in generated manufacturing files). (BC:28010)
72204 For a specific board, deleting a particular component would result in an Access Violation (in module "ADVPCB.DLL") being encountered. In addition, and for the same board, attempting to fix issues after running a health check of the board, would result in Altium Designer 'freezing'.
Wire Bonding
69913 With the PCB.Wirebonding.3DImprovements option enabled (Advanced Settings), bond wires were not being presented in exported STEP 3D output, when opened in SOLIDWORKS.
71242 When exporting a design containing wire bonding to the HyperLynx ASCII file format (*.HYP), an additional layer was being added under the bottom layer, rendering the stackup unusable. (BC:27701)
Harness Design
71006 Added the ability to freely adjust the Width and Height of a cable, shield or twist object placed in a wiring diagram. With an object selected, a new control in the Properties panel allows you to switch between locked dimensions (default, keeping a height:width aspect ratio of 2:1) or unlocked (freely changing the dimensions as desired). Graphical editing of the object (through dragging of its editing handles) follows the setting of this control accordingly. (I:25518)
71246 Added the 'Component Rule Check' command to the Projects panel's right-click context menu for both Harness Entity and Harness Entity Template Workspace items. (Requires the EDMS.HarnessEntityModel advanced settings option to be enabled).
71303 A layout label attached to a bundle now follows the orientation of that bundle.
71430 Additional validation checks associated with a defined cavity view for a harness connector type harness entity have been added to the 'Violations Associated with Harness Entities' section of the Data Management - Component Rule Checks page of the Preferences. These check for missing crimps, seals and plugs assigned to seals, as well as missing and duplicated cavity names. (Requires the EDMS.HarnessEntityModel advanced settings option to be enabled).
71579 An 'Uploading 3D Model...' indicator is now presented when uploading a new or existing 3D model for a harness entity model. (Requires the EDMS.HarnessEntityModel advanced settings option to be enabled).
71603 When adding an associated seal to a cavity through the Properties panel (with that cavity selected in the Cavity Model editor), you can now only add one type of seal. (Requires the EDMS.HarnessEntityModel advanced settings option to be enabled).
71637 Added the 'Place Cavity' command to the Cavity Model editor's main Place menu, as well as the right-click context menu accessed from within the main design space. (Requires the EDMS.HarnessEntityModel advanced settings option to be enabled).
71865 After selecting the segment view for a bundle in a layout drawing and deleting it, the selection 'circle' would incorrectly remain displayed in the design space.
Platform
71469 When using Altium Designer Develop with the Chinese UI localization, the warning text that appears when all authoring spots are taken was incorrectly translated.
71710 The detailed section containing copyright trademarks and registered trademarks has been removed from the Help » About window. In addition, the content in the Copyright notices dialog has been streamlined, with a link to the Copyrights & Trademarks page on altium.com.
71832 With the System.ViewOnlyMode.Support option disabled (Advanced Settings), attempting to open a harness or multi-board project would result in an Access Violation (in module "WorkspaceManager.DLL") being encountered.
71845 Attempting to create a new project in a folder where the user has no write access, would result in the error "Could not find a part of the path "<Path>"..." being encountered.
71982 In some cases, off-site installation of Altium Designer would fail with the error "Server SSL certificate is invalid" being encountered.
72028 In some cases when generating PDF documentation using the Smart PDF feature and the same PDF is already open in a third party PDF viewer, the error "One or more errors occurred. (Index was outside the bounds of the array)..." would be encountered, rather than an indication that the PDF is in use by another program, and to close it in that other program first.
Data Management
57463 The Open Project (and associated Select columns) dialogs were employing case sensitivity for column naming, so would display multiple, separate columns instead of a single column.
70907 The Custom Parts Provider Synchronization feature has been enhanced to include additional Category and Datasheet system parameters in an underlying Custom Parts Provider Synchronization Configuration document (*.PrtSync).
70911 The Custom Parts Provider Synchronization feature has been enhanced to include support for custom parameters in a Custom Parts Provider Synchronization Configuration document (*.PrtSync).
70955 Added support for specifying, at the Workspace Library level, 'Related Components' for a PCB or Harness component, when defining that component through the Component editor (in its Batch Component Editing mode).
71005 In some cases, Altium Designer would freeze while attempting to reconnect to the previous Workspace.
71193 In some cases when accessing the Explorer panel with the Library Health view or a project view active, selection of Workspace Items/Revisions during Part Request (through workflows) submission would not be possible and active Part Request workflows would become non-functional for the remainder of the current Altium Designer session.
71286 When using the Altium Designer Custom Parts Provider Synchronization feature to map supplier data from a specified database source to Workspace supply chain data, support has been added for presenting Category and Datasheet system parameters, as well as any custom parameters (defined in an underlying Custom Parts Provider Synchronization Configuration document (*.PrtSync)) in the Manufacturer Part Search panel. This requires the 'EDMS.CustomOffersMerge' advanced settings option to be enabled, which merges supplier data from your configured Custom Parts Provider with the Altium Parts Provider, to present all supplier information combined (Note: The 'Supplier Data Merging' feature is only available when connected to a Workspace on the Altium Platform that has BOM Portal enabled).
71373 After manually adding a managed component (from the connected Workspace) to a project's ActiveBOM, if that component was subsequently edited and released as a later revision, it was not possible to update it to that later revision from within the ActiveBOM (the Operations » Update to the Latest Revision command was unavailable (grayed out) on the right-click menu). (BC:27687)
71457 It is now possible to use parameters to define the Name and/or Description when creating a new component (or editing an existing released component) in the connected Workspace (e.g., [ParameterName1]_[ParameterName2]), provided the parameters (with values) have been defined for the component.
71546 When creating a Design Review from within Altium Designer, it is now possible to create a review if you have made local changes to the project, without saving them first. Also, if a later version of the project exists in the Workspace, you can now create a review without having to update your local version first. (Requires the EDMS.DesignReviewsCreation advanced settings option to be enabled).
71598 The 'JWT for user identification/authentication' feature, delivered by the EDMS.CloudLoginByJWT option (Advanced Settings), is now officially made Public with this release (ON by default).
71627 Added a new advanced settings option 'Comments.ModernMarkers' that, when enabled, uses a fresh, modern design for comment markers placed in a design space (wherever comments are supported), as well as new coloring when placing comments in an ActiveBOM.
71660 Added the 'Create Design Review in Web' command to Altium Designer's main Project menu. (Requires the EDMS.DesignReviewsCreation advanced settings option to be enabled).
71724 In a specific case, attempting to access the Design Reuse panel would result in the error "Additional non-parsable characters are at the end of the string..." being encountered.
71795 For a specific design and after making changes to component parameters through the Properties panel when using the Variant Manager (UI.ModernVariantsManager option enabled in Advanced Settings), attempting to generate a PDF of schematic prints from an Output Job file would result in the error "Object reference not set to an instance of an object..." being encountered.
71830 When using the Component editor in its Single Component Editing mode, the Name field has been enhanced with respect to its search functionality. Searching will now only begin after entering at least two characters, with hint text to highlight this.
71841 When creating a Database Library, it was not possible to enable the 'Visible On Add' option for a parameter directly in the parameters grid. In addition, while it was possible to enable the option using a command on the right-click context menu, the option would be disabled after saving and reopening the DbLib file.
72173 For a specific design and after making changes to component parameters through the Variant Management dialog using the old Variants Management feature (UI.ModernVariantsManager option disabled in Advanced Settings), attempting to generate a PDF of schematic prints from an Output Job file would result in the error "Object reference not set to an instance of an object..." being encountered.
Import/Export
71440 When importing some Allegro designs, the Top Paste layer was incorrectly being presented for some components, even though the layer was absent for them in the original Allegro source.
71445 When importing a specific Allegro design, incorrect pad sizes were being generated for a particular component on the Top layer.

Altium Designer Develop – Released: 3 August 2026, Version 26.9.1 (build 9)
Altium Designer Agile – Released: 3 August 2026, Version 26.9.1 (build 46)
Altium Designer – Released: 3 August 2026, Version 26.9.1 (build 10)

PCB
71669 In some cases after adding stitching vias to a net in a design, false Clearance Constraint rule violations would be flagged by the Online DRC. (BC:27917).
71747 With the PCB.Polygon.AdvancedPour and PCB.Rendering.DrawArcBaseGeometry options enabled (Advanced Settings), and with transparency for polygons set to something other than 0% (e.g., 60%), the visual coloring of a polygon pour in the design space was not the same everywhere.
71809 In a specific design and with the PCB.ViaInstancing option enabled (Advanced Settings), some IPC 4761 via drill holes were not being exported in generated NC Drill and ODB++ outputs.
Wire Bonding
71792 Due to an issue raised during testing of the previous Beta release, the 'Wire Bonding 3D Enhancements' feature, delivered by the PCB.Wirebonding.3DImprovements option (Advanced Settings, ON by default), is now no longer being made Public with this release. It will remain in Open Beta to allow for further investigation.
Data Management
71640 When running a script within an active Output Job file, to change output path for a Folder Structure output container, the last directory/folder in the initial path would be lost. (BC:27900).

Version 26.9.0

Altium Designer Develop – Released: 22 July 2026, Version 26.9.0 (build 6)
Altium Designer Agile – Released: 22 July 2026, Version 26.9.0 (build 36)
Altium Designer – Released: 22 July 2026, Version 26.9.0 (build 6)

PCB
67639 In a specific design, copying and pasting a skip via would result in the via layers being changed. (BC:26449)
70893 With the PCB.Performance.InteractivePropertyPanel.Optimization option enabled (Advanced Settings) and a group of pads selected in the design space, attempting to use string substitution in the Designator field (in the Properties panel) would result in literal use of the entry for all pad designators, rather than substitution performed as expected. (BC:27612)
70973 After generating Gerber files from a design with more than 32 signal layers, files for signal layers above *.G30 were not recognized by Windows Explorer and the Projects panel in Altium Designer, appearing as text documents. Such files could not be opened in Altium Designer, outside of the CAMtastic editor (and its CAMtastic panel).
71113 Enhanced handling of rules when importing one or more rule sets (in a .rul file) with the same name(s) as those that already exist. Three actions are now available to handle the imported rules within a set: 'Add to existing rules' (add the imported rules, renaming those with duplicate names), 'Add and replace matching rules' (add the imported rules, replacing existing rules with the same names), and 'Replace all' (remove all existing rules in the set and import the selected rules). (BC:27821)
71301 With the PCB.Polygon.AdvancedPour option enabled (Advanced Settings), attempting to generate ODB++, Gerber, or Gerber X2 data (either through an associated Output Job file as part of project release, or direct generation from the File » Fabrication Outputs menu), would result in the error "Start point is outside of allowed boundaries..." being encountered.
71331 When interactively routing using the 'Any Angle' corner style, weak glossing and conflict resolution set to 'HugNPush Obstacles', setting a high Miter Ratio (e.g., 20x) would cause Altium Designer to freeze, requiring termination by the Windows Task Manager. (BC:27782)
71341 In the Design Rule Checker dialog, the entry 'Rule Types to Check' has been reverted back to 'Rules to Check', in the left hand pane.
71349 In some cases, keepout regions placed on signal layers (i.e., not the Keepout Layer) were not being rendered in the design space. They could, however, still be selected and functioned correctly. (BC:27919)
71412 After using the Edit » Move » Rotate Selection command, the value entered in the Rotation Angle dialog was not being remembered. (BC:27805)
71427 When generating a PDF of PCBLIB Prints through an Output Job file, for a project containing more than one PCB Library and with the Data Source set to 'All PCBLIB Documents', the error "Object reference not set to an instance of an object..." would be encountered.
71485 Added a new advanced settings option 'PCB.Routing.AdvancedDPRetrace' that, when enabled, adds support for retracing differential pairs in 'Rounded' mode.
71543 In a specific case when using the IPC Compliant Footprint Wizard to create a PQFN footprint, disabling the 'Use calculated footprint values' option on the PQFN Footprint Dimensions page of the Wizard, and setting X1 to 0.25 and Y1 to 0.6, would lead to Altium Designer freezing. (BC:27875)
71595 Polygon pours were not being displayed in the Members region of any defined Polygon Classes, in the Object Class Explorer dialog. (BC:27899)
71638 When generating outputs for a PCB directly from the PCB editor's File menu (e.g., Gerber, ODB, etc.), and with the option to 'Use separate folder for each output type' enabled on the Options tab of the Project Options dialog, the generated output was not being created in the expected sub-folders.
CAMtastic
67163 If attempting to import, twice, ODB++ data (without signal layers) into a new CAMtastic document, an Access Violation (in module "CAMDXP.dll") would be encountered.
70762 In some cases when working with generated ODB++ fabrication data in the CAMtastic editor, an Access Violation (in module "CAMDXP.dll") would be encountered.
Wire Bonding
66450 For a specific design with embedded components, die pads were not being correctly rendered on the 3D die bodies in those cavities, when viewing the board in 3D Layout mode.
71268 The 'Wire Bonding 3D Enhancements' feature, delivered by the PCB.Wirebonding.3DImprovements option (Advanced Settings), is now officially made Public with this release (ON by default).
Harness Design
58777 Added support for the ‘free’ rotation of a physical model view of a component within a layout drawing. Now, you can set a custom rotation angle – either by graphical rotation of the model in the design space itself, or by direct entry of the required angle in the Properties panel (with the physical model view selected). (I:25235)
68450 Added support for reassignment of bundle objects in a layout drawing, where a wire could traverse more than one path between its source and destination connectors. By default, that wire will automatically be assigned to the shortest bundle path, but now you have the ability to override this. A new control - 'Assign Objects to Bundle' - will appear at the bottom of the Bundle Objects section of the Properties panel (with the Bundle selected in the design space), and only when an alternative routing path exists. This gives you access to a dialog with which to move objects (wires/cables) between the applicable and valid bundles. As part of this functionality, the previous 'Objects assigned to the bundle' drop-down field (and its related object selection entries), has been removed.
70569 Added support for placing a 'Segment View' of a chosen bundle segment into a layout drawing, presenting the wires that are inside that segment (individual wires, twisted pairs of wires and wires that are part of cables), allowing to see clearly how those wires physically fit together inside the harness bundle segment. Each wire is labeled, colored using the wire's defined color, as well as its thickness scaled based on the value for its 'Thickness' parameter.
71422 Added a new advanced settings option 'EDMS.HarnessEntityModel' that, when enabled, adds support for a range of harness-related component types that can be defined as part of your Workspace Library. At the heart of this support is a new model type that can be created and defined - the 'Harness Entity'. When creating a new component, choosing the Harness Entity model type will take you through to creating one of the following supported models: Harness Connector (with support for defining a graphical view of the connector's cavities), Crimp, Seal, Accessory, Splice (mechanical splice only) and Covering. An additional Workspace item type is also available – the 'Harness Entity Template', for enhanced design reuse. A harness entity model/template can be referenced through a component template (using the 'HarnessEntity' parameter). Note that the Harness Library Components feature is only available for a connected Workspace on the Altium Platform. It is currently not supported by the Altium On-Prem Enterprise Server. (I:26771, I:27354, I:27787)
Platform
70878 A vertical scrollbar has been added to the menu associated with the Active Server control at the top right of the design space, allowing you to easily access all of the Workspaces available to you, especially where you have shared access to a considerable number of Workspaces.
71353 In some cases, where the software had been configured to auto save into a folder that had not been created yet, the error "Access to the path "<PathName>" is denied." would be encountered.
71518 Where the project file for a PCB design somehow contained duplicate sections, attempting to open it through the Open Project dialog would result in an exception being encountered. If the project was dragged from the Windows File Explorer onto the Projects panel, the project would appear empty, with no documents loaded.
71605 Issues had been experienced with the automated backup feature. In some cases with the feature enabled, only a single backup would ever be created. In other cases, disabling the feature would result in a backup being created. (BC:27924, BC:27992)
Data Management
70422 Added a new advanced settings option 'EDMS.RelatedComponents' that, when enabled, adds support for specifying components, at the Workspace Library level, that are related to a defined PCB or Harness component (Alternate, Mating Half and Associated Component, as applicable). A new section is presented – Related Components – with which to do so when defining a component through the Component editor (in its Single Component Editing mode). Note that the Related Components feature is only available for a connected Workspace on the Altium Platform. It is currently not supported by the Altium On-Prem Enterprise Server. (I:23612)
70755 The Components panel has been enhanced with respect to its usability when initially accessed. The 'All' category is now expanded by default (in normal and compact modes) and the Categories pane made visible when switching to Normal mode. In addition, the details section is made visible/expanded in both modes.
70863 When connected to a Workspace with no valid subscription, choosing that Workspace in the Locations region of the Open Project dialog would result in the error "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" being presented (within the dialog itself).
70944 When attempting to release a properly defined net tie component to a connected Workspace, running a Component Rule Check would result in false 'Shorted Copper Connection' violations.
71092 The 'Supplier Data Merging' feature, delivered by the EDMS.CustomOffersMerge option (Advanced Settings), is now officially made Public with this release (ON by default).
71227 Added a new advanced settings option 'EDMS.DesignReviewsCreation' that, when enabled, adds support for initiating the creation of a Design Review for a project from within Altium Designer, opening the window with which to define the review, within the connected Workspace's browser-based interface.
71325 The search feature in the Explorer panel would return a lot of unrelated components when the search string included the equal ('=') character. (BC:27743)
71356 When attempting to generate output from an Output Job file, into a specified folder (in the linked Output Container) that had no write access at the OS level, the error "Access to the path "<PathName>" is denied." would be encountered.
71421 When releasing a specific PCB design project using the Project Releaser, and using the Compare Gerber feature for generated Gerber fabrication data at the 'Review Data' stage, the error "Unable to cast COM object of type 'System.__ComObject' to interface type 'DelphiObjects_Interfaces.IWSM_DelphiServiceConcentrator'..." would be encountered.
71438 After checking out a design project from an external SVN VCS repository, that project would not be automatically opened in the Projects panel. (BC:27835)
71541 When attempting to generate a PDF of schematic prints through an Output Job file, and where naming (e.g., of ports) used incorrect ordering of square brackets (e.g., ][, [[, or ]], instead of []), an error would be encountered.
Import/Export
70329 The OrCAD Importer has been enhanced with support for the import of variants defined in an OrCAD design. (Requires the Importer.Orcad.AdvancedEngine advanced settings option to be enabled).
70733 For a specific OrCAD design, the DNP (Do Not Populate) parameter (added to specific components) was not being imported. (Requires the Importer.Orcad.AdvancedEngine advanced settings option to be enabled).
SI Analyzer by Keysight
71019 For a specific PCB design, attempting to access the SI Analyzer by Keysight tool would result in the error "Index was out of range. Must be non-negative and less than the size of the collection. (Parameter 'index')" being encountered.

Version 26.8.1 Beta 2

Altium Designer Develop – Released: 2 July 2026, Version 26.8.1 (build 9)
Altium Designer Agile – Released: 2 July 2026, Version 26.8.1 (build 50)
Altium Designer – Released: 2 July 2026, Version 26.8.1 (build 31)

PCB
71308 In some cases, running a DRC would erroneously produce many 'Zero hole size multi-layer pad(s)' warnings in the Design Rule Verification Report, even though the pads were SMD.
71351 In some cases after moving one or more pads within the design space and running a DRC, the Design Rule Verification Report would incorrectly contain 'Zero hole size multi-layer pad(s)' warnings for SMD pads.
71370 When placing a PNG-formatted graphic image on a PCB (with 'Inverted Levels' option enabled and 'Compose' option set to Union), the graphic would not display correctly when rotated.
Harness Design
71277 When importing changes from a multi-board design into a harness wiring diagram, the value for the harness project's 'HarnessDesignator' parameter was not being taken into account, resulting in erroneous differences being detected by the comparison engine. (BC:27708)
Platform
71266 After initially opening a project, that project would not be reopened on subsequently restarting Altium Designer, if the Windows current system locale was set to 'Korean' and the project path contained Korean symbols.
Data Management
71269 Attempting to generate a PDF of schematic prints for a project through an output job file, and where at least one sheet symbol was set to use a local source with no specified 'File Name', would result in the error "One or more errors occurred. (Value cannot be null. (Parameter 'path1'))..." being encountered.

Version 26.8.0

Altium Designer Develop – Released: 18 June 2026, Version 26.8.0 (build 6)
Altium Designer Agile – Released: 18 June 2026, Version 26.8.0 (build 33)
Altium Designer – Released: 18 June 2026, Version 26.8.0 (build 6)

Schematic
69676 In some cases when switching between comments in a schematic, the error "Cannot set Visibility or call Show, ShowDialog, or WindowInteropHelper.EnsureHandle after a Window has closed" would be encountered.
70448 With a non-default path specified for 'Local Templates folder' (on the Data Management - Templates page of Preferences), navigating to that folder when loading a template for an open schematic document (using Tools » Design » Sheet Templates » Local » Load From File) would revert to the default template folder (\Users\Public\Documents\Altium\AD<Version>\Templates) between sessions of Altium Designer.
71126 In some cases when adding a footprint to a selected schematic component using the Footprint Manager, the error "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" would be encountered. (BC:27729)
71170 In some cases when attempting to reset board level annotation after removing some components from a source schematic (or masking them with a compile mask), the error "Unable to cast object of type "Altium.WorkspaceManager.DataModel.DesignatorRecordAdapter" to type "Altium.WorkspaceManager.DataModel.DesignatorRecord"..." would be encountered. In another case, the error "startIndex ('-9') must be a non-negative value. (Parameter 'startIndex')..." was encountered. (BC:27716)
PCB
65724 For a specific design, adding via stitching or via shielding to a net with rule-driven solder mask expansion, would result in incorrect bottom solder mask expansion and the 'link' control being displayed in the wrong state. (BC:27568)
69160 There was noticeable performance degradation when adding teardrops to a PCB, with the process taking a very long time and consuming a considerably higher amount of memory. (BC:27045)
69996 With the PCB.Performance.InteractivePropertyPanel.Optimization option enabled (Advanced Settings) and the 'Repour Polygons After Modification' option enabled (on the PCB Editor - General page of Preferences), moving a component onto a polygonal pour, enabling Thermal Relief for a selected pad and changing the Connect Style, would result in the error "Value cannot be null. (Parameter 'source')" being encountered.
70328 When using the Advanced Polygon Pour engine (PCB.Polygon.AdvancedPour option enabled in Advanced Settings) and when working with a hatched polygon pour, polygon pour cutouts are now always taken into account, so that the pour does not encroach on the cutout's boundaries. With this in mind, the 'Obey Polygon Cutout' option has been removed from the relevant areas of the UI (i.e., such functionality is permanently enabled).
70430 In some cases when running a DRC of the Acute Angle design rule, an Access Violation (in module "ADVPCB.DLL") would be encountered.
70570 When creating a new rule (by adding or duplicating) in the PCB Rules and Constraints Editor dialog, the Name field is now given focus by default.
70658 When using the teardropping feature, copper keepout tracks were being ignored and incorrect teardrops created, if the area with those keepouts was panned to be outside of the visible display area.
70676 In some cases when recalculating impedances for an impedance profile in the Layer Stack Manager (e.g., Type 'Differential-Coplanar', with Roughness Model Type 'Hemispherical'), the error "The transaction has aborted. --- System.Reflection.TargetInvocationException: Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation..." would be encountered.
70679 Added a new advanced settings option 'PCB.Rendering.DrawArcBaseGeometry' that, when enabled, adds support for the rendering of true arcs in both the PCB editor and PCB Library editor design space, instead of approximations. This support extends across 2D/3D Layout Modes (and Board Planning Mode for the PCB editor) and can be seen for polygon pours (solid, hatched, none), polygon pour cutouts, the selection contour for polygon pours and regions, regions, solder mask and paste mask expansions, net highlighting, clearance boundaries, and violation overlay (separate polygon pour on region or polygon pour). Note: True arc rendering requires the Advanced Polygon Pour engine to also be enabled – available when the PCB.Polygon.AdvancedPour option is enabled in the Advanced Settings dialog.
70709 The 'ODB++ Intellectual Property Protection' feature, delivered by the ODB.IntellectualPropertyProtection option (Advanced Settings), is now officially made Public with this release (ON by default).
70727 When using the PCB CoDesign feature, a silent crash would be encountered when comparing empty length tuning accordions.
70874 In some cases when working with a PCB Library document, an Access Violation (in module "ADVPCB.DLL") would be encountered.
70983 In some cases when defining a board region or board shape in Board Planning mode, an Access Violation (in module "ADVPCB.DLL") would be encountered.
70986 In some cases when importing rules into the PCB Rules and Constraints Editor dialog, an Access Violation (in module "ADVPCB.DLL") would be encountered.
71067 With the PCB.Polygon.AdvancedPour and PCB.Polygon.AdvancedDynamicPour options enabled (Advanced Settings) and the 'Repour Polygons After Modification' option enabled (on the PCB Editor - General page of Preferences), interactively routing with the Conflict Resolution mode set to 'Ignore Obstacles' would sometimes result in an Access Violation (in module "ADVPCB.DLL") being encountered.
71135 In some cases when attempting to access the Edit Rule Priorities dialog (from within the PCB Rules and Constraints Editor dialog), an Access Violation (in module "ADVPCB.DLL") would be encountered.
71137 In some cases when working with the search/filter field in the PCB Rules and Constraints Editor dialog, an Access Violation (in module "ADVPCB.DLL") would be encountered.
71163 When using the 'Show Differences' tool to compare the netlist for a design project with its PCB document, the error "Object reference not set to an instance of an object..." would be encountered. (BC:27726)
Constraint Manager
66118 When creating an advanced Clearance rule (from the All Rules view when accessing the Constraint Manager from the PCB), you now have controls to switch between ‘Simple’ and ‘Advanced’ modes of operation for the minimum clearance matrix (as per the PCB Rules and Constraints Manager dialog). (I:23850)
69940 For a specific design, attempting to access the Constraint Manager from a schematic document would result in the error "An item with the same key has already been added..." being encountered and subsequently all views becoming empty and unusable.
Draftsman
69992 Added a 'hand' cursor when panning a Draftsman-based manufacturing drawing document (.PCBDwf, .HarDwf, .MbDwf) using Right-Click, Hold&Drag, bringing consistency with the Schematic and PCB editors.
Wire Bonding
66236 In some cases when viewing a footprint incorporating wire bonding (die pads and bond wires) in 3D within a PCB Library, there was a noticeable gap between the die pads and the extruded 3D surface to which they were placed. (BC:27016)
Multi-board Design
68881 When attempting to place a harness branch in a multi-board schematic, and the associated group connection had 'No Mated Entry' in the 'From' or 'To' column, the error "Value cannot be null. (Parameter "key")" would be encountered.
70891 When manually creating the 'Component Links' through which synchronization (harness source to multi-board schematic) can be performed, the sizing of the 'Edit Component Links Between Harness Project and MultiBoard Document' dialog was not being remembered. (Requires the MBS.HarnessSource advanced settings option to be enabled).
Platform
71139 When opening a Project Group (.DsnWrk) from within a folder of different project groups, empty files with GUID strings for names would be randomly, and erroneously, created in the parent folder. (BC:27759)
Data Management
70324 When using the BOM CoDesign feature to compare the ActiveBOM against a generated Managed BOM (from design), a placed component in a design would falsely be shown as having differences in the 'Modified Parameters - Comments' field, if that component had an empty symbol at the end of its name. (BC:27443)
70326 When using the BOM CoDesign feature, and with Altium Designer set to use the UI Theme 'Altium Light Gray', elements on the Related BOMs tab (of the Properties panel) were not easily readable (white text on a light gray background). (BC:27443)
70479 When attempting to release a new component to a connected Workspace, the Component Rule Check would incorrectly flag a false 'Duplicate component by Name' error, if the name of that component had the same starting string as that of an existing component's name. (BC:27448)
70859 The 'Requirements Management' feature, delivered by the EDMS.Requirements option (Advanced Settings), is now officially made Public with this release (ON by default).
71159 Where an Output Job document included an output container featuring a custom name utilizing a special string (e.g., =Item), attempting to open that document directly, or run the Project Releaser, would result in the error "Object reference not set to an instance of an object..." being encountered. (BC:27705)
Import/Export
70109 When importing a specific OrCAD design, solder mask layers were being imported incorrectly, with the generated Top Solder Mask layer containing extra openings and the Bottom Solder Mask layer missing some openings. (Requires the Importer.Orcad.AdvancedEngine advanced settings option to be enabled).

Version 26.7.1

Build: 11 Date: 8 June 2026

Platform
70887 When using the DM_ProjectFullPath() function in a VB script, the path to the project folder was not being populated, preventing writing of a text file to the project folder.
Data Management
70998 When attempting to generate a PDF Project History report (through an Output Job or directly via the Schematic/PCB editor's Reports menu), the Project History Report Configuration dialog could not be accessed (in which to set the time period for the report), resulting in a blank PDF being generated.

Version 26.7.0

Build: 7 Date: 22 May 2026

Schematic
70565 In some cases when pausing (Tab) an interactive process (e.g., placing a wire or rotating a selected object) in a schematic or harness wiring diagram, an Access Violation (in module "AdvSch.dll") would be encountered.
PCB
66901 When exporting a PCB to STEP format, the Route Tool Path was not present in the exported model if a mechanical layer greater than '16' had been used as the 'Route Tool Path' layer.
69812 In a specific case, attempting to re-route from existing track (using the Interactive Routing or Quick Routing tools and with the 'Automatically Remove Loops' option enabled) would lead to Altium Designer completely freezing.
69873 For a specific design, pushing changes from the PCB to the source schematics would result in the error "The given key "eModification_AddNode" was not present in the dictionary" being encountered.
70028 The Return Path design rule would falsely return a violation, despite a valid return path existing. (Requires the PCB.Rules.ReturnPathViaDetection advanced settings option to be enabled).
70031 With the PCB.Polygon.AdvancedPour option enabled (Advanced Settings) and after adding outline vertices to a placed polygon through import of a CSV file, adding another vertex would result in the polygon becoming broken.
70059 The feature to control the version of Simbeor used in the calculation of delay and impedance within the PCB editor, delivered by the PCB.SimbeorVersion option (Advanced Settings), is now officially made Public with this release (1 by default).
70207 For a specific PCB, attempting to export the board to STEP 3D format (using File » Export » STEP 3D) would result in Altium Designer hanging in an 'infinite loop'. In another case, mechanical layer objects were being incorrectly exported as board cutouts. (BC:25654)
70213 With the PCB.ViaInstancing option enabled (Advanced Settings), the 'Via Nets' and 'Via Span' controls (in the Additional Options region, on the View Options tab of the PCB editor's View Configuration panel) were not functioning correctly. (BC:26989)
70349 With the PCB.Polygon.AdvancedPour option enabled (Advanced Settings) and after executing the initial ECO to push a design to the PCB, some components were being placed far from the board's origin.
70573 In some cases and with the PCB.ViaInstancing option enabled (Advanced Settings), a back drill via would incorrectly connect directly to a polygon plane, ignoring the clearance defined in the applicable Power Plane Clearance design rule. (BC:27450)
70607 The 'Via Instancing' feature, delivered by the PCB.ViaInstancing option (Advanced Settings), is now officially made Public with this release (ON by default).
Draftsman
57465 In some cases when working with a manufacturing drawing document (.PCBDwf/.HarDwf/.MbDwf), the error "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" would be encountered.
CAMtastic
69776 When attempting to import ODB++ data generated from a specific KiCad design into Altium Designer's CAM editor (CAMtastic), the error "The specified file path: <FilePath> - doesn't exist" would be encountered and the CAM document would remain empty.
Wire Bonding
69905 When viewing a PCB or footprint in 2D Layout Mode, you can now control the visibility of bond wires using the new 'Bond Wires' entry (and associated controls) in the Object Visibility region, on the View Options tab of the View Configuration panel. When viewing a PCB or footprint in 3D Layout Mode, the visibility of bond wires and die pads is now controlled as part of the 'Show 3D Bodies' option in the General Settings region, on the View Options tab of the View Configuration panel. (Requires the PCB.Wirebonding.3DImprovements advanced settings option to be enabled). (BC:25470)
Multi-board Design
69267 Added a new advanced settings option 'MBS.HarnessSource' that, when enabled, provides the ability to select the harness design project to be used as the source for a harness connection in a multi-board schematic. Further, you are able to use the same source harness project for multiple harness connections in the multi-board design. In addition, support for the seamless bidirectional synchronization of information between the multi-board schematic and the harness wiring diagram allows the two domains to be worked on independently. (I:23321)
69427 In some cases when importing changes from a child harness design project into a multi-board schematic, and with the harness connection selected and the Connections section expanded for it in the Properties panel, the error "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" would be encountered.
Harness Design
70566 Clicking on a netline in a wiring diagram would result in the error "The given key "eHarnessLogicalSignal" was not present in the dictionary" being encountered.
Platform
69062 Added a new advanced settings option 'PCB.UseOpenCascade790' that, when enabled, switches to use version 7.9.0 of the Open CASCADE library for processing of 3D geometry in Altium Designer.
Data Management
69142 In some cases when editing multiple components using the Component editor (in its Batch Component Editing mode), copying content from any editable cell would result in the error "Control "" has no parent window..." being encountered.
69378 After batch editing a large number (1500+) of footprints in a connected Workspace (e.g., changing mechanical layer assignment), release back to that Workspace would take a very long time, after which Altium Designer would not release the considerable amount of RAM used.
70220 When editing a large number of components (500+) through the Component editor (in its Batch Component Editing mode) and adding part choices to those components, a timeout error would be encountered and the components would eventually release but without the added part choices.
70315 With the EDMS.CloudLoginByJWT option enabled (Advanced Settings), it was not possible to connect to a Chinese Workspace on the Altium Platform (through the portal: portal.altium365.com.cn), from within Altium Designer
70849 In some cases when making a PCB project available online to a connected Workspace on the Altium Platform, all source documents (with the exception of ActiveBOM) were not visible when opening and browsing the project through the Workspace's Web Viewer interface.
Import/Export
69921 When importing a specific Allegro design, the value for the thickness of each layer in the layer stack was incorrect. (Requires the Importer.Allegro.AdvancedEngine advanced settings option to be enabled).

Version 26.6.0

Build: 10 Date: 6 May 2026

Schematic
68892 In some cases and after clearing the name of a net on a schematic (through the Properties panel), subsequent dynamic compilation would result in the error "Null or empty argument" being encountered.
69519 For a blanket whose shape is 'stepped' (not rectangular), it was not possible to graphically edit the shape to make it fully rectangular, since the edge being moved could not be 'dropped'. (BC:27250)
69781 In a specific case, attempting to open any schematic document in a design project would result in the error "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" being encountered.
PCB
57322 In a specific case when attempting to drag some diff pair routing, an Access Violation (in module 'ADVPCB.DLL') was encountered.
61449 In a specific case, the STEP model generated for a BGA package using the IPC Compliant Footprints Batch Generator did not match with its footprint.
61450 In a specific case when creating a PLCC square package using the IPC Compliant Footprint Wizard, the value for 'Lead Span Range (D)' was not being reflected correctly in the generated 3D STEP model preview, resulting in the long side of the chip's legs not touching the pads.
61495 When creating an LCC package using the IPC Compliant Footprint Wizard and with 'Number of pins (E)' different to 'Number of pins (D)', the generated 3D STEP model preview was incorrect.
61496 When creating a CFP package using the IPC Compliant Footprint Wizard, a change in the value for the Minimum Standoff Height was not being reflected correctly in the generated 3D STEP model preview.
61500 When creating a MOLDED (polarized) or SODFL package using the IPC Compliant Footprint Wizard, the polarized pin (cathode) is now identified on the generated 3D STEP model by a white bar. (I:16813, I:17014)
61503 When creating a CAPAE package using the IPC Compliant Footprint Wizard, the 3D STEP model was generated incorrectly when using settings to ensure the model had worse-case dimensions. The cylinder part of the model was being pushed through the bottom of the part. (BC:7032)
61538 When creating an SOT89 package using the IPC Compliant Footprint Wizard, the height of the central region defined manually by the Y3 parameter (on the Footprint Dimensions page of the Wizard, and with the 'Use calculated footprint values' option disabled) was not reflected correctly in the generated footprint.
61596 When creating an LCC package using the IPC Compliant Footprint Wizard, a thermal pad was not created as part of the generated footprint, even though minimum and maximum values for the related properties ('Thermal Pad Size (D Side)' and 'Thermal Pad Size (E Side)') had been defined.
61597 When creating an SOT89 package with the IPC Compliant Footprint Wizard, the center pad in the generated footprint was separated into two objects that were not electrically connected (a pad and a copper region), ultimately resulting in clearance errors internal to the footprint when placed within a PCB.
61598 In some cases when creating a QFN package using the IPC Compliant Footprint Wizard, using calculated values for dimensions resulted in a footprint with touching pads. (BC:20868)
61600 Added a new 'Lead Span Range (L)' parameter when defining the dimensions for a MOLDED package using the IPC Compliant Footprint Wizard. This allows specification of minimum and maximum values for the distance between the outer sides of leads. Dimension imagery has been updated and the 'Body Length Range (L)' parameter has been renamed 'Body Length Range (L1)'. (BC:2423)
61601 When generating a footprint using the IPC Compliant Footprint Wizard or IPC Compliant Footprints Batch Generator, the PCB pin reference marker was being generated over pad primitives for customized parameters.
61602 When generating a gullwing package footprint using the IPC Compliant Footprint Wizard, the Footprint Dimensions page of the Wizard has been enhanced with the ability to control whether or not pad trimming is applied when using calculated footprint values. In addition, and when generating a gullwing package footprint using the IPC Compliant Footprints Batch Generator, a new 'PadTrimming' parameter has been added to the Footprint Specifications section on the Data tab of the associated Excel template file, to control whether or not pad trimming is applied.
61805 When creating CFP packages with the IPC Compliant Footprints Batch Generator, STEP models were being generated incorrectly, with widths not equal to those specified in the processed Excel-based file.
61806 In two specific cases, it was not possible to create DPAK packages using the IPC Compliant Footprints Batch Generator. In the first case, an "Invalid stream format" error would be encountered on trying to add the Excel-based file for processing. In the second case, processing would complete with the error "Invalid quantity "" in field "DensityLevel"". (BC:23015)
61807 When creating Chip Array packages at multiple density levels with the IPC Compliant Footprints Batch Generator, the 'DensityLevel' field, along with manually entered footprint specifications, were being ignored in an Excel-based file added for processing. (BC:8328)
61808 When creating a CHIP, CAPAE, MOLDED, or WIRE WOUND package with the IPC Compliant Footprint Wizard, the footprint name would be generated incorrectly and not in accordance with the naming conventions of the IPC-7351B standard.
61809 When creating a CHIP package with the IPC Compliant Footprint Wizard, the preview of the generated footprint did not follow the 'X' and 'Y' parameter values as expected, incorrectly presenting X as vertical and Y as horizontal. When ultimately placed within a PCB, the component footprint was rotated by 90 degrees by default (instead of zero rotation, as expected).
61810 When creating a DFN package with the IPC Compliant Footprint Wizard, the preview of the generated footprint did not correctly follow changes to the 'Body Width Range (E)' and 'Body Length Range (D)' parameter values, changing the wrong dimension in each case.
61812 In a specific case when creating a QFN-2ROW package using the IPC Compliant Footprint Wizard, calculated values for dimensions resulted in pad spacing that was larger than the 'Body Span Range (D)'.
61814 When creating a SOIC package using the IPC Compliant Footprint Wizard, using calculated values for footprint dimensions was trimming too much off the pads in the generated footprint, leading to minimum solder (contact to pad) issues.
61893 In a specific case when using the IPC Compliant Footprints Batch Generator to create a DIP package, the footprint failed to generate if no footprint name was specified in the processed Excel-based file, instead of generating a footprint using an auto-generated name.
61894 When creating DIP packages with the IPC Compliant Footprints Batch Generator and the footprint name is not specified in the Excel-based file added for processing, the footprint would fail to generate. In addition, and when the 'Produce STEP model' option was enabled, an extruded body would be generated, rather than a generic 3D STEP model.
62111 When generating a Chip Array footprint using the IPC Compliant Footprint Wizard, the prefix for the Footprint Name was incorrect (when compared to the IPC-7351 B Naming Convention) when the 'Hull side type' was set to 'Concave', 'ConvexE' or 'ConvexS'.
62112 For various packages, the IPC Compliant Footprint Wizard did not calculate the Courtyard correctly when the 'Use calculated footprint values' feature was disabled and values for 'Pad Dimensions' and 'Pad Spacing' were entered manually.
62254 Updated the IPC Compliant Footprint Wizard when creating a PQFP or CQFP package footprint, to build the package outline based on maximum dimension values (rather than nominal values), as per SOIC, SOP, TSSOP, and SOT packages.
62283 When creating an SOT-type package using the IPC Compliant Footprint Wizard, the generated footprint did not have the correct value for the Courtyard excess.
62319 Updated the IPC Compliant Footprint Wizard when creating a PQFP package footprint, to generate a silkscreen outline using the same style/approach as for the QFN package. The outline now follows the maximum package outline with an offset towards the outside of the package outline of one half of the silkscreen line width (default silkscreen line width is 0.127 mm).
62378 When creating a SOIC package using the IPC Compliant Footprint Wizard, the generated footprint did not have the correct value for the Courtyard excess.
62430 The IPC Compliant Footprint Wizard has been updated, for all existing supported packages, to ensure footprint generation in accordance with Revision B of the IPC standard 7351 - 'Generic Requirements for Surface Mount Design and Land Pattern Standard'.
62669 When creating a BGA package using the IPC Compliant Footprint Wizard or IPC Compliant Footprints Batch Generator, the pad diameter reduction percentage (for collapsible solder balls) did not comply with Revision B of the IPC standard 7351 - 'Generic Requirements for Surface Mount Design and Land Pattern Standard'.
67406 When creating an LCC package with the IPC Compliant Footprint Wizard and with the 'Chamfer Shape' option disabled, the STEP model preview and the generated footprint itself, incorrectly included a chamfer on the 3D body. In addition, when creating a BGA or LGA package and with the 'Chamfer Shape' option enabled, the STEP model preview and the generated footprint itself, were missing a chamfer on the 3D body.
67407 When creating a PQFN package with the IPC Compliant Footprint Wizard, the STEP model preview and the generated footprint itself, did not include vias for the thermal pad.
68167 After making changes in the Layer Stack Manager that would affect propagation delay, such as changing the value for the dielectric constant (Dk) for a layer, the Delay value for tracks was not being recalculated. (BC:26356)
69563 The feature to save/load the calculated relative Delay for each type of primitive to/from cache (improving performance in Delay calculation when reopening a design and selecting a primitive for the first time), delivered by the PCB.Performance.UseNetDelayCalculationCache option (Advanced Settings), remains in Closed Beta but is now ON by default with this release.
69594 When modifying the outline vertices of a polygonal-shaped object featuring an arc, through the Properties panel, the arc end point would be missing or incorrect, resulting in the object's shape being incorrect.
69836 With the PCB.Performance.InteractivePropertyPanel.Optimization option enabled (Advanced Settings) and a pad selected in the design space, the 'Center Offset (X/Y)' fields were missing from the relevant section in the Pad Stack region of the Properties panel.
69891 In the PCB Rules and Constraints Editor dialog, after switching between a newly-created Width rule (with 'Default Stack' chosen) and the blank area for the Unconnected Pin rule (no rule of this type created) and then back again, an Access Violation (in module "ADVPCB.DLL") would be encountered.
69895 After editing an OLE object placed within a PCB and then saving and closing the document, on attempting to open the PCB again, Altium Designer would 'freeze' completely. (BC:27320)
70013 For a component whose designator and/or comment text was set to be hidden, and where such strings had been edited to become multi-line in nature, those strings were incorrectly visible in generated ODB++ fabrication output. (BC:25162)
70192 Introduced the concept of 'Rule Sets' to the PCB Rules and Constraints Editor dialog, allowing for the efficient grouping and reuse of a set of design rules specific to, for example, an interface or manufacturer. You can quickly view and manage constituent rules within a set, switch between applied sets of rules, and export/import rule sets for optimal portability.
Constraint Manager
64638 After renaming a net class in the Physical view of the Constraint Manager, copying and then pasting the associated parameter set (in which the net class is defined) on a schematic, would result in the previous net class name still being used.
Draftsman
69217 In some cases when attempting to import a DXF file into a manufacturing drawing document (.PCBDwf/.HarDwf/.MbDwf), the error "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" would be encountered.
CAMtastic
69260 Implemented default layer color assignment, based on layer type, when importing Gerber files into the CAM editor (CAMtastic), if the information regarding layer coloring is missing from the files being imported. This brings consistency and avoids assignment of random coloring, as was the case previously.
69875 Implemented default layer color assignment, based on layer type, when importing ODB++ data into the CAM editor (CAMtastic), if the information regarding layer coloring is missing from the data being imported. This brings consistency and avoids assignment of random coloring, as was the case previously.
Harness Design
69256 When attempting to compare logical differences between a harness layout drawing and its harness design project, the error "The method or operation is not implemented..." would be encountered.
69632 Added ability to 'split' a connection table in a Harness Draftsman document to be presented over a number of 'pages', along with control to limit the page height. (I:27127)
69804 After changing a harness component in the wiring diagram (using the Replace Component feature from the Properties panel) and importing changes to the layout drawing, while the Design Item ID was correctly updated, the Comment and Description were still those of the previous component. This was also the case in the BOM.
Platform
68978 'WebView2' functionality, delivered by the System.UseWebView2 option (Advanced Settings), is now officially made Public with this release (ON by default).
Data Management
69356 In some cases and when working with a project's ActiveBOM open as a free document, the error "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" would be encountered.
69382 With a component template defined featuring a dictionary parameter (with a default value but not marked as 'Required'), the default value could not be removed when creating/editing a component based on this template.
69489 When connecting to an Altium Platform Workspace that has defined Environment Configurations, and where a user is assigned to several groups (multiple environment configurations can apply), it was not possible to change the applied configuration after having initially selected one and enabled the 'Remember my choice' option in the Select a Configuration dialog. Catering for this, a new Connection Properties dialog, accessed from the Properties menu for the Workspace, on the Data Management - Servers page of Preferences, enables you to quickly change the configuration to use, from those available to you.
69576 Added support for an additional unit-aware data type – Temperature coefficient (ppm/°C) – when defining a user parameter as part of a component template in a connected Workspace on the Altium Platform.
69755 When attempting to open a specific ActiveBOM document containing a specific component, the error "An error on the remote server" would be encountered and the document would report "Failed to pull data".
69840 When importing a specific library using the Library Importer, datasheets from all related components were incorrectly being added (as ComponentLink parameter pairs) to the newly-created component template document.
69842 In a specific case and when opening a large ActiveBOM document that was part of a Workspace project, and that project was in a connected Workspace with enabled SiliconExpert functionality, the error "Exception of type 'Altium.Rest.Http.RestHttpClientUnexpectedResponseException' was thrown" would be encountered.
69845 There was noticeable performance degradation when working within a large ActiveBOM document that was part of a Workspace project, and that project was in a connected Workspace with enabled SiliconExpert functionality (e.g., clicking, scrolling, accessing dialogs and refreshing). In addition, interacting with various elements of the ActiveBOM document through the Properties panel (e.g., changing BOM sets and toggling parameter visibility) was also noticeably slow.
69917 In specific cases and when attempting to show a document's history (History & Version Control » Show Document History), Altium Designer would 'freeze'. (BC:27282)
Import/Export
68884 When importing a specific Allegro design, an instance of a solid region on the silkscreen was not getting filled. (Requires the Importer.Allegro.AdvancedEngine advanced settings option to be enabled).
69672 When attempting to import a specific Xpedition design library, the solder mask for some component pads was not being imported correctly in the generated PCB Library document.
69946 When attempting to import a specific Allegro design, layers were being imported incorrectly. (Requires the Importer.Allegro.AdvancedEngine advanced settings option to be enabled).

Version 26.5.1 - Additional Update

Build: 12 Date: 6 May 2026

PCB
70303 When attempting to run the 'Create Primitives From Board Shape' command with the 'Include Cutouts' option enabled, an Access Violation (in module "ADVPCB.DLL") would be encountered. (BC:27399)
70304 In some cases when moving a component (with text) on a PCB, and with the 'Component re-route' option enabled and 'Move component with relevant routing option' disabled (PCB Editor - Interactive Routing page of Preferences), an Access Violation (in module 'ADVPCB.DLL') would be encountered. (BC:27415, BC:27416)
70305 In a specific case and when generating Gerber X2 data from a board through an Output Job file, an Access Violation (in module 'PolygonClipper.dll') would be encountered. (BC:27391)
70306 After pushing a schematic featuring components and at least one defined differential pair (and automatic room creation enabled) to a PCB, attempting to move the generated room (with the 'No Net Objects' option enabled in the subsequent dialog) would result in an Access Violation (in module "ADVPCB.DLL") being encountered. In some cases, "Runtime error 216" would be encountered or Altium Designer would shut down completely. (BC: 27413)
70307 In some cases when moving a component on a PCB, and with the 'Component re-route' option enabled (PCB Editor - Interactive Routing page of Preferences), attempting to right-click 'cancel' the process would result in an Access Violation (in module 'ADVPCB.DLL') being encountered.

Version 26.5.0

Build: 11 Date: 25 March 2026

Schematic
66133 In some cases, when drawing a selection window (from right-to-left) around primitives on a schematic or schematic library document, some arcs would fail to be selected. (BC:27379)
67140 Added the ability to define a custom vertical margin for a pin's Designator and Name, at both the global level (as part of Schematic Preferences) and the local level (as part of pin properties). You now have full control over horizontal (X) and vertical (Y) margins for these two properties, appearing as 'Margin (X/Y)' fields in the relevant places. When using the List panels or Find Similar Objects dialog, the vertical margin is defined using the two new fields 'Pin Designator Vertical Margin' and 'Pin Name Vertical Margin' respectively.
PCB
67769 With the PCB.Polygon.AdvancedPour option enabled (Advanced Settings), erroneous Acute Angle rule violations were being reported inside polygons when running a DRC.
68066 Added dynamic phase matching support when manually length tuning a net within a differential pair using the Interactive Length Tuning tool. This facilitates maximum efficiency of differential signal transmission by enabling you to manually equalize the length of the two sides in a differential pair, while also matching the phase along the entire length of the pair. (Requires the PCB.TraceTuning.InteractivePhaseTuning advanced settings option to be enabled).
69147 It was not possible to change the layer for a placed room.
69371 With a placed text string selected in the design space (in a PCB or PCB Library document), text autofill functionality was not working when starting to type text for a special string (e.g., .<somecharacters>) in the Text field of the Properties panel. (BC:27130)
69405 With a placed standard dimension selected in the design space (in a PCB or PCB Library document), it was not possible to change the width of the dimension using the Width field in the Properties panel.
69540 The 'Pad/Via Template Loading Optimization' feature, delivered by the PCB.Performance.PadViaTemplate.LoadingOptimization option (Advanced Settings), is now officially made Public with this release (ON by default).
69564 In some cases when generating a testpoint report from a panelized PCB (including an embedded board array), some data was missing. (BC:27003)
69581 When interactively routing and with the 'Apply Trace Centering' option enabled (and 'Adjust Vias' option disabled), dropping a via would result in that via incorrectly inheriting clearance based on the centering (objects to trace and clearance ratio), rather than the applicable design rule.
69635 In some cases when dragging non-45 degree routing, an error (in module "RouterEntry.dll") would be encountered.
69681 In some cases when opening a PCBLib file containing counterholes in later versions of Altium Designer, all counterbores and countersinks were not present. In addition, after adding new counterholes, saving and reopening the library, those counterholes were not present. (BC:27221)
69747 With the PCB.Polygon.AdvancedPour option enabled (Advanced Settings) and the 'Repour Polygons After Modification' option enabled (on the PCB Editor - General page of Preferences), interactively length tuning track, such that the generated tuning pattern impacted a neighboring polygon pour, would result in Altium Designer 'freezing'.
69774 In some cases, copying-pasting a rectangle and then attempting to change that pasted rectangle's size, would lead to an Access Violation (in module 'ADVPCB.DLL') being encountered.
Draftsman
65656 When adding a new Draftsman document to a PCB design and created using a specific Draftsman Document Template in a connected Workspace, the error "Width and Height must be non-negative..." would be encountered.
Wire Bonding
69457 In some cases, when interactively routing from a finger pad that has a bond wire coming into it, another bond wire would automatically (and incorrectly) be created from the newly-routed track.
69701 In some cases and for a PCB including wire bonding, rotating the board in 3D view before the bond wires have been rendered would result in an Access Violation (in module "ADVPCB.DLL") being encountered.
Platform
69028 When attempting to load 'System - Templates' settings from a specific Preferences file (*.DXPPrf), the error "Value cannot be null. (Parameter 'value')..." would be encountered. (BC:27007)
Data Management
69326 For a Workspace containing more than 10,000 components, all additional added components above that level were being presented in the 'Uncategorized' category in the Components panel, with a negative count.
69385 The Item Manager has been enhanced to handle the case where a Workspace component has multiple footprint models defined and the currently assigned model subsequently has its name changed. The 'Auto-matching' and 'Update to Latest' features now correctly assign the latest revision of the footprint model (whose name has changed). (I:10242)
69424 Added a new advanced settings option 'VCS.AllowLFSRepos' that, when enabled, restores previous, partial ability to use LFS repositories when working with Git version control. CAUTION: Altium Designer does not fully support working with LFS repositories and, in some cases, doing so can lead to loss of user data. (BC:27158)
69444 It was not possible for a standard (non-Admin) user to release a project in a project sub-folder, when they did not have access rights to the top-most project folder in a Workspace. Release of the project using the Project Releaser would fail, with the error "Current user doesn't have sufficient rights to create a folder with path..." being encountered.
69456 A solution marked as 'NOT USED' in the list of part choices for a component in an ActiveBOM would remain listed, even after deleting it.
69476 Part choices data was not being presented in the Components panel for components in a file-based library.
69514 When editing one or more Workspace components, the component rule check "Revision that is being edited is not latest" is now correctly observed when using the Component editor in its Batch Component Editing mode, ensuring violations are flagged when editing a component that is not the latest revision.
69531 When browsing a PCB Library through the Components panel (with Models enabled for display), 'Description', 'Height' and 'Pad Count' columns were not available for selection in the Select Columns dialog.
Import/Export
56381 In some cases when attempting to import a KiCad design, the error "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" would be encountered.
65953 When attempting to import a specific OrCAD design, the names for various power ports were hidden on the generated schematic document(s). (Requires the Importer.Orcad.AdvancedEngine advanced settings option to be enabled).
69318 When attempting to import a specific OrCAD design, some components were being imported without their 'Value' parameter, resulting in the corresponding Comment field being blank when selecting such a component on a generated schematic document. (Requires the Importer.Orcad.AdvancedEngine advanced settings option to be enabled).
Power Analyzer by Keysight
68908 After running an analysis for a specific design, saving and accessing the full report would lead to the error "System.MissingMethodException: Method not found..." being encountered.
SI Analyzer by Keysight
69664 In some cases when attempting to analyze nets for the active PCB from the SI Analyzer by Keysight document, the error "The given key 'SIAnalyzer.Engine.Keysight.SectionKeys.ResultSectionKeyBase' was not present in the dictionary" would be encountered. (BC:26953)

Version 26.4.1 Beta 2

Build: 12 Date: 12 March 2026

Wire Bonding
69524 With the PCB.Wirebonding.3DImprovements option enabled (Advanced Settings) and when attempting to copy primitives (including wire bonding) from a footprint in a PCB Library to a PCB document, an Access Violation (in module 'Altium.PCB.DataModel.X.dll') would be encountered.

Version 26.4.0

Build: 8 Date: 26 February 2026

Schematic
67749 In some cases when adding a new schematic document to a project after having changed to a Viewer license, the error "EIntfCastError: Interface not supported" would be encountered.
PCB
61119 For a specific and large design, there was a noticeable lag when toggling visibility of various layers ON and OFF through the View Configuration panel.
66692 The Z-Axis Clearance rule is now enabled by default for Batch DRC. (Requires the PCB.Rules.ZAxisClearanceRule advanced settings option to be enabled).
67193 The 'Advanced Polygon Pour' feature, delivered by the PCB.Polygon.AdvancedPour option (Advanced Settings), remains in Closed Beta but is now ON by default with this release.
67658 Added a new advanced settings option 'PCB.Rules.ReturnPathViaDetection' that, when enabled, improves detection of return path vias during design rule checking of a Return Path rule. Stacked and staggered microvias are now considered for use as return path vias. For a high-speed signal, such vias may be considered for a return path if they connect reference layers for that signal, flowing between layers (if there is only one reference layer for the high speed signal there is nothing to stitch and no return path via is needed), and if the distance between the return path vias, and return path vias and the signal, is not more than the Max Stitch Via Distance defined in the rule.
68736 After deleting sub-stacks in the stackup of an advanced rigid-flex design, Coverlay and Solder Mask layers from those sub-stacks would incorrectly be added to the main, default 'Board Layer Stack'. After removing any duplicates and attempting to save, the error "Maximum layers of type Coverlay for stack Board Layer Stack reached..." would be encountered, because a combination of coverlay and soldermask on the same sub-stack was not possible.
68764 In some cases with a Z-Axis Clearance rule defined (enabled or not), repouring a polygon would result in a pad and via not being connected, even though they were part of the same net.
68817 With the PCB.Polygon.AdvancedPour option enabled (Advanced Settings) and where a board has been rotated in a placed embedded board array, polygon pours were not being rotated (with the same rotation as the board) when generating PDF documentation (e.g., a Composite Drawing).
68820 When exporting a PCB as a Specctra Design File (*.dsn), keepouts were not being included in the generated file.
68919 With the PCB.SolderMaskZeroExpansion option enabled (Advanced Settings), generation of a SON (Small Outline Non-lead) footprint using the IPC Compliant Footprint Wizard would result in pads having a solder mask expansion of -3638.868 mm, instead of 0 mm as expected.
68973 Where the scoping query expressions used in a binary design rule were very long, it was not viable to use the Applicable Binary Rules check between primitives because the scoping in the subsequent dialog appeared unreadable, with no ability to adjust the dialog size or column widths. (I:10041)
68983 In some cases when working in a PCB document with the PCB.Polygon.AdvancedPour and PCB.Polygon.AdvancedDynamicPour options enabled (Advanced Settings), an Access Violation (in module "ADVPCB.DLL") would be encountered.
69010 The 'Solder Mask Zero Expansion' feature, delivered by the PCB.SolderMaskZeroExpansion option (Advanced Settings), is now officially made Public with this release (ON by default).
69031 In a PCB or PCB Library, placing a rectangle with a small Track Width (e.g., 0.01 mm) would result in its size becoming smaller (both width and height) after clicking to define its second anchor point. In addition, clicking on any of the placed rectangle's corners, while still in placement mode, would result in a square being created. Also, copy-pasting a rectangle in a PCB Library would also result in its size becoming smaller. (BC:27033, BC:27046)
69059 For a specific design, attempting to access the Layer Stack Manager would result in the error "Layer type not found..." being encountered.
69121 When using the PCB CoDesign feature, after merging changes between two users with respect to a polygon (geometry change by one user and shelving the polygon by the other), the result would be a 'No-Net' polygon.
69152 In a specific design, with the advanced polygon pour engine enabled (PCB.Polygon.AdvancedPour option ON in Advanced Settings) and a Z-Axis Clearance rule defined, repouring all polygons would result in a void incorrectly created in a polygon for a track, even though the polygon and track were part of the same net.
69155 With the PCB.Performance.InteractivePropertyPanel.Optimization option enabled (Advanced Settings), it was not possible to modify the size of a selected text frame through the Properties panel. (BC:27044)
69423 In a PCB Library, after setting one of the available IPC 4761 options for a placed via, that setting would revert to 'None' after saving and reopening the library. In another case, vias added to a footprint from a Pad Via Library would lose connection to that library after saving and reopening the PCB Library. The vias were also missing in the Local Pad & Via Library region of the PCB Pad Via Templates panel. (BC:27157)
Constraint Manager
63142 Added the ability to specify Minimum, Maximum and Preferred values for Diameter and Hole Size, when defining a Routing Via Style rule in the Physical view, in addition to template-preferred definition. (BC:26530)
67865 Object icons have been refreshed and unified across all pages in the Constraint Manager (both schematic and PCB sides), as well as in the ‘Import Directives’ and ‘Refresh Constraint Manager’ dialogs (when importing directives from schematic source documents into the Constraint Manager) and the Object Class Explorer dialog.
68405 In the Physical view of the Constraint Manager (when accessed from the schematic side) and for classes imported from the schematic, the associated expand control (to access objects in a class) was not working.
69384 When attempting to remove multiple selected Advanced Rules from the All Rules view (when accessed from the PCB), having added each subsequent rule to the selection using Ctrl+click and then using the 'Remove Advanced Rules' command from the right-click context menu, the error "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" would be encountered.
Draftsman
68897 After creating a new Draftsman document (.PCBDwf) for a PCB design project, using a Draftsman document template (.DwfDot) featuring a placed Board Assembly View, the display of that view in the design space did not correctly follow the initial settings defined in the Component Display Properties region of the Properties panel.
Wire Bonding
63050 After moving a component, a bond wire was incorrectly getting attached to a die pad located on a 3D body above, rather than remaining attached to the original die pad on the component's 3D body.
67985 Further improvements have been made when working with Wire Bonding. These include the addition of 'Bond Wires' as an object to the Selection Filter, accessed from the Active Bar and the Properties panel (pre- and post-selection filtering), and addition of 'Bond Wire' as a distinct object type (when filtering the display of objects) in both PCB List and PCBLIB List panels. When using Layer Sets, the Die and Wire Bonding layers are now part of the 'Signal Layers' layer set. (Requires the PCB.Wirebonding.3DImprovements advanced settings option to be enabled).
Multi-board Design
68125 When placing a component whose symbol included an arc primitive (e.g., polarized capacitor) onto a multi-board schematic, the arc would be drawn incorrectly in the design space. Subsequently clicking on the incorrectly-rendered graphics to select the component, would result in the error "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" being encountered.
68890 When placing a component whose symbol included an arc primitive (e.g., polarized capacitor) onto a multi-board schematic, the arc would be drawn incorrectly in the design space. Subsequently clicking on the incorrectly-rendered graphics to select the component, would result in the error "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" being encountered.
69173 For a specific multi-board design project, attempting to import from the child PCB project for a particular selected module on the multi-board schematic would result, on occasion, in the error "An item with the same key has already been added..." being encountered.
Harness Design
59289 Dragging a wire over a splice in a wiring diagram would erroneously duplicate that splice object. (BC:27442)
64350 In some cases when generating printed output for a Harness design, an Access Violation (at address 0000000139490BC8 in module "WorkspaceManager.DLL") would be encountered.
68050 For a component on a layout drawing set to display its Physical Model in Solid style, the coloring defined for the Selection/Highlight System Colors entry (in the View Configuration panel of the PCB editor) was being used, regardless of whether the model was selected or not.
Platform
47582 In some cases, the Components and Manufacturer Part Search panels would exhibit display/sizing issues when switching between normal and compact views in both Docked and Floating modes. In addition, and when these panels were in Popup mode, accessing them again would lead to their height suddenly decreasing.
68635 Altium Designer would become totally unresponsive after temporary Wi-Fi connection loss, resulting in the need to close it using the Windows Task Manager. (BC:26379BC:26854)
68981 In some cases when attempting to reset all preferences back to their defaults, an Access Violation (in module "PCBDLGS.DLL") would be encountered.
69364 With the WSM.DotNetECOImplementation option enabled (Advanced Settings), attempting to import pin-swap changes in a child project to a multi-board schematic would result in the detected changes listed in and processed by the subsequent ECO not being applied, no matter how many times the ECO was executed.
69375 With the WSM.DotNetECOImplementation option enabled (Advanced Settings) and when attempting to compare the physical differences between two versions of a PCB Library document, the error "The process cannot access the file "C:\Users\<UserName>\AppData\Local\Temp\Compare HierarchicalPCBObjects.Log" because it is being used by another process..." would be encountered.
Data Management
61335 When using the BOM CoDesign feature and in particular the 'Explore Suggested Component' command (from the Differences section of the Properties panel), if the suggested component is not the latest revision, that specific revision will now be opened in the Components panel.
63880 For a Workspace library component whose name included two or more underscore characters, the first underscore was incorrectly being removed from its name in the entry for the 'Place <ComponentName>' command, in the menu accessed when right-clicking on that component in the Components panel.
63966 The 'Create Tag' command has been added back to the History & Version Control sub-menu, when accessing project-related menus. In addition, validation has been added when entering a value for the tag, with an associated hint that only letters, numbers, dot (‘.’), dash (‘-’), number sign (‘#’) and underscore (‘_’) are allowed.
65936 Added the ability to batch change the lifecycle state of selected components directly from within an ActiveBOM. Note that the process will only include components from your connected Workspace.
68709 When changing the revision state of an Item in a connected Workspace (through the Batch state change dialog), the process would fail if a note was entered of more than 255 characters. (BC:24819)
68762 After adding a part choice to a component in an ActiveBOM document and refreshing, not all offers from the same supplier were being displayed.
68814 Altium Designer's Custom Parts Provider Synchronization and Components Synchronization features have been improved to now support PostgreSQL databases.
68962 When sharing a live design or design snapshot through the Share dialog, the former dialog accessed from the Advanced Settings control has been redesigned as a pop-up window. In the case of sharing a live design, share and download options are now gathered by 'Member Rights' (for Workspace members) and 'Guest and External Share Rights' (for external guest users with whom projects have been shared).
69007 When adding a comment/reply to a document, if text was entered, followed by a pasted web URL, the text would be removed if a space character was added after that URL, leaving only the URL in the posted comment/reply. (BC:26998)
69149 A default Workspace footprint template (added through the Data Management - Templates page of the Preferences) was not being applied when creating a new Workspace component, after updating from a previous version of Altium Designer (pre 26.1) to a later version (26.1 or later). (BC:26847, BC:27173)
69186 There was noticeable performance degradation when working within an ActiveBOM document that was part of a Workspace project, and that project was in a connected Workspace with enabled SiliconExpert functionality.
69287 When opening a large ActiveBOM document that was part of a Workspace project, and that project was in a connected Workspace with enabled SiliconExpert functionality, SiliconExpert parameters were not being populated correctly and timeout errors would be encountered.
69298 When attempting to save preferences to a connected Workspace and changing the folder in which to create a new Altium Designer Preferences item, the error "ShowDialog can be called only on hidden windows..." would be encountered.
69430 For a PCB design project including a PCB Library document, attempting to generate a PDF of PCBLIB Prints, directly from an Output Job added to that project, would result in an Access Violation (in module 'WorkspaceManager.DLL') being encountered.
69447 In some cases when working with, and saving changes to, a project that has been shared with editing rights to a user who is not a member of that project's parent Workspace, that user would encounter the notification "Trying to Reconnect to Notification Service" frequently and at random times.
Import/Export
63690 When attempting to import a specific OrCAD design, a number of components were not imported and therefore missing from the generated schematic documents. (Requires the Importer.Orcad.AdvancedEngine advanced settings option to be enabled).
66324 When importing an Allegro design, a solid-filled shape defined as a Route Keepout on all layers was incorrectly imported as a region on the Multi-Layer, instead of the Keep-Out Layer as expected. (Requires the Importer.Allegro.AdvancedEngine advanced settings option to be enabled).
66325 When importing an Allegro design, a solid-filled shape defined as a Package Keepout on the Top Layer was incorrectly imported as copper track, instead of a keepout region as expected. (Requires the Importer.Allegro.AdvancedEngine advanced settings option to be enabled).
66570 When attempting to import a specific OrCAD design, the import would fail with 'Invalid Component' errors. (Requires the Importer.Orcad.AdvancedEngine advanced settings option to be enabled).
67943 Added a new advanced settings option 'Importer.Orcad.AdvancedEngine' that, when enabled, switches to using the new Advanced OrCAD Engine when importing OrCAD designs and libraries through the Import Wizard.
68013 When importing a specific Allegro design, the hole shape for pads of a particular component was being incorrectly imported as 'Slot' rather than 'Round', and also with incorrect dimensions. (Requires the Importer.Allegro.AdvancedEngine advanced settings option to be enabled).
68875 When importing a specific xDX Designer library, symbol pin numbers were being duplicated for multi-part components.
68896 When attempting to import a specific Xpedition (Expedition) design, an Access Violation (in module 'Importer_Expedition.IWZ') would be encountered.
68900 When importing an Allegro design with defined 'Layers - Components - Tolerance' or 'Layers - Components - User part' sub-classes on Top or Bottom layers, respective component layer pairs ("TOLERANCE_TOP" and "TOLERANCE_BOTTOM") and ("PART_NUMBER_TOP" and "PART_NUMBER_BOTTOM") are now created in the generated PCB document to accommodate values from these Top and Bottom layers, with these layers hidden by default with respect to their visibility. (Requires the Importer.Allegro.AdvancedEngine advanced settings option to be enabled).
68977 When attempting to import an OrCAD PCB footprint library (*.LLB), an Access Violation (in module 'ADVPCB.DLL') would be encountered. (BC:26983)

Version 26.3.0

Build: 6 Date: 22 January 2026

PCB
66876 Added support for SOLIDWORKS 2024 and 2025 models (*.SldPrt) when working with 3D bodies. In addition, export of a PCB into Parasolid file format now uses Parasolid version 35.1.
67334 After exporting a specific PCB to Parasolid format, the 3D models for some components could not be converted when opening the exported file in SOLIDWORKS, resulting in the error "The data in this file may be invalid" being encountered. (BC:25813)
68348 In some cases and with the PCB.Performance.InteractivePropertyPanel.Optimization option enabled (Advanced Settings), placing a layer stack table into the design space would result in the error "Object accessed after being destroyed..." being encountered.
68359 In some cases when using the Loop Removal feature while interactively routing, an error (in module "RouterEntry.dll" or module "ADVPCB.DLL") would be encountered.
68412 The advanced polygon pour engine (PCB.Polygon.AdvancedPour option enabled) was ignoring Z-axis clearance rules (PCB.Rules.ZAxisClearanceRule option enabled) when the 'Dynamic Polygon Pour' feature was being used (PCB.Polygon.AdvancedDynamicPour option enabled) and the 'Repour Polygons After Modification' option was chosen (PCB Editor - General page of Preferences). Voids in polygons were being created only in the layer of routing.
68742 With the advanced polygon pour engine enabled (PCB.Polygon.AdvancedPour option ON in Advanced Settings), a thermal spoke from a polygon pour stopping at the edge of a rectangular pad, would incorrectly cause a same-net clearance violation (where such a clearance rule was scoped to apply between the polygon and the pad).
68810 With the PCB.SplitPlanes.Pouring option enabled (Advanced Settings), the color of the first Plane layer in a stack was incorrectly replacing the Board Area color for all layers.
68819 The 'ODB++ Intellectual Property Protection' feature, delivered by the ODB.IntellectualPropertyProtection option (Advanced Settings), remains in Closed Beta but is now ON by default with this release.
68901 With the PCB.Performance.InteractivePropertyPanel.Optimization option enabled (Advanced Settings), adding/removing the Route Tool Path layer multiple times for a PCB Library document (or opening a PCB Library document where this has been performed) would result in the error "Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation..." being encountered. (BC:26959)
68942 In a specific case, attempting to save a PCB document after making changes would result in an Access Violation (in module 'ADVPCB.DLL') being encountered.
68945 When defining a Fabrication/Assembly Testpoint Style rule in the PCB Rules and Constraints Editor dialog, changes made to the Min/Max Size constraints were not being saved. (BC:26969)
69025 For a specific PCB document and with the 'Component re-route' option enabled (on the PCB Editor - Interactive Routing page of Preferences), moving any component would result in the error "Object accessed after being destroyed..." being encountered. (BC:27027)
Multi-board Design
68356 When attempting to map pins between the inline connectors of a harness within a multi-board schematic, Altium Designer would completely freeze and could not be terminated via the Windows Task Manager. (BC:26806)
Harness Design
67903 Enhanced the 'Update From Libraries' feature to now also include wires, cavity components and associated parts (when accessed from a wiring diagram), and coverings, labels and associated parts (when accessed from a layout drawing). Note that for an aforementioned object to be included in the update, a component assigned to the object must include a link to a schematic symbol. (BC:27779)
68314 Jumper wires defined in a wiring diagram are now correctly accommodated in the associated layout drawing. With a bundle selected in the layout drawing, the Bundle Objects region of the Properties panel will now include such jumper wires that start and end at the same connection point as part of that bundle. Such wires will only have the option to define their length manually. The entered value will then be included in the harness project's ActiveBOM document and manufacturing drawing (BOM table and wiring list). (I:23859)
Data Management
63778 When using the Manufacturer Part Search panel, only the last filter to be applied would be correctly displayed (name and parameter) above the results list. Any previously selected filters would be displayed in name only, with parametric information missing.
63779 It was not possible to scroll the content of the Manufacturer Part Search panel's Details pane, when the cursor was positioned over certain areas.
66024 When sharing an item in a Workspace with a new user, the entry for that user (in the Share For Item dialog) would initially (and incorrectly) display their email rather than their organization.
66242 While browsing components in the 'Where-used' view of a component template (in the Explorer panel), changing the Revision State for one or more selected components would not automatically be reflected back in the view.
66867 Placing a reuse block from the Explorer panel would result in the error "Value cannot be null. (Parameter 'pcbSnippetGUID')..." being encountered. (BC:26812)
67416 After refreshing the Components panel, revision states for models were not being updated. (BC:24630)
68164 The Custom Parts Provider Synchronization feature, used to map - through a Custom Parts Provider Synchronization Configuration document (*.PrtSync) - supplier data from a specified database source to Workspace supply chain data, can now be used when connected to a Workspace hosted on Altium 365 GovCloud.
68242 Added a new advanced settings option 'EDMS.CloudLoginByJWT' that, when enabled, uses a JWT (JSON Web Token) for user identification and authentication when connecting from Altium Designer to a Workspace on the Altium Platform.
68245 For a component in an ActiveBOM, the ranking specified for an added manual solution would be lost after updating to use a later revision of that component in the design.
68247 When using the Library Importer to import footprints in a PCB Library document into a connected Workspace, any footprint whose description exceeded 256 characters would fail to import, even though the Importer reported that the import had been successful.
68705 In some cases when attempting to release changes made to an existing component (through the Component editor in its Single Component Editing mode), the error "Interface not supported" would be encountered.
68708 When attempting to add a specific part choice (LM2940IMP-15 from Texas Instruments) to any component in a Workspace library, the error "Value cannot be null. (Parameters 'source')" would be encountered.
68725 In cases where a comment in a design included a link to a design review and the Design Review feature was not available in the connected Workspace, the error "The HTTP status code of the response was not expected (403). Status: 403 Response: {"message":"No valid license for this feature."}" would be encountered.
68907 In the specific case of working with Altium Designer 26.1 and connected to a Workspace, when viewing placed comments in any design project, the user name, in both the contextual commenting window and the Comments and Tasks panel, was showing as "Anonymous" instead of the person who placed the comment.
Import/Export
61517 When importing an Allegro library (*.dra), the correct 3D Body height information (inner and outer) for a specific footprint, was not being imported. (Requires the Importer.Allegro.AdvancedEngine advanced settings option to be enabled).
61945 When importing an Allegro design with defined 'Layers - Components - Dev type' sub-class on Top or Bottom layers, a component layer pair ("DEVICE_TYPE_TOP" and "DEVICE_TYPE_BOTTOM") is now created in the generated PCB document to accommodate values from these Top and Bottom layers, with these layers hidden by default with respect to their visibility. (Requires the Importer.Allegro.AdvancedEngine advanced settings option to be enabled).
67082 When importing an Allegro design, the hole shapes for rectangular-shaped pads were being incorrectly imported as a slots rather than rectangles. (Requires the Importer.Allegro.AdvancedEngine advanced settings option to be enabled).
67128 In some cases when importing an Allegro design, component 3D bodies were not being correctly positioned/located. (Requires the Importer.Allegro.AdvancedEngine advanced settings option to be enabled).
67146 When importing a specific Allegro library file (*.dra), a particular component was not being imported correctly. (Requires the Importer.Allegro.AdvancedEngine advanced settings option to be enabled).
67844 When attempting to import a specific Allegro design, the importer would get stuck for a very long time (around 22hrs) at the 'Fixup polygons' stage. As an interim improvement, this import time has been greatly improved (now down to around 40mins), but is still a lengthy delay. (Requires the Importer.Allegro.AdvancedEngine advanced settings option to be enabled).
67945 When importing an Allegro design with defined 'Layers - Components - Comp value' sub-class on Top or Bottom layers, a component layer pair ("COMPONENT_VALUE_TOP" and "COMPONENT_VALUE_BOTTOM") is now created in the generated PCB document to accommodate values from these Top and Bottom layers, with these layers hidden by default with respect to their visibility. (Requires the Importer.Allegro.AdvancedEngine advanced settings option to be enabled).
67990 In some cases when importing an Allegro design, text on the Bottom Silkscreen layer was being imported incorrectly, either mirrored and/or mirrored and rotated. (Requires the Importer.Allegro.AdvancedEngine advanced settings option to be enabled).
68115 When importing an Allegro design featuring spacing (space characters) between two blocks of text on the silkscreen, the spacing was being ignored by the importer, resulting in the two text blocks being placed at the same origin in the generated PCB document. (Requires the Importer.Allegro.AdvancedEngine advanced settings option to be enabled).
68664 When exporting a PCB into Ansys EDB format, capacitor values specified in fF (femto Farad) were not being recognized, defaulting instead to 1nF. (BC:24118)

Version 26.2.0

Build: 7 Date: 18 December 2025

Schematic
65661 In some cases when trying to create an integrated library (from project documents) from an active schematic document, an Access Violation (in module "IntegratedLibrary.DLL") would be encountered.
67949 Alpha-numeric sorting of pins by Designator was not working correctly in the Schematic Library editor's Symbol Wizard, resulting in "A1, A10, A11,...A19, A2, A20, A3, A4,...A9" for example, rather than "A1, A2, A3,...A18, A19, A20" as expected.
67982 When replacing a file-based component with a Workspace Library component, using the '...' control associated to the Design Item ID field in the Properties panel, the parameters did not update to those of the Workspace component.
PCB
67160 With the 'Live Highlighting' option enabled (on the PCB Editor - Board Insight Display page of Preferences) and during placement of a via, repeatedly switching between possible nets highlighted in the background would lead to the error "List index out of bounds" being encountered.
67765 Added a new advanced settings option 'PCB.Polygon.AdvancedPour.NoDiffusion' that, when enabled, provides a streamlined approach to the resolution of overlapping polygon pours, when using the Advanced Polygon Pour engine (PCB.Polygon.AdvancedPour option enabled). A lower-priority polygon will only be poured outside of the boundary of a higher-priority polygon that is either completely nested within it or partially overlaps it, resulting in a significant performance increase in terms of less time taken to repour polygons.
67883 When exporting a PCB containing text with height '0' to DXF format, the error "eInvalidInput" would be encountered.
68177 After selecting and deleting multiple Component Layer Pair entries on the Layers & Colors tab of the View Configuration panel, the entries would still remain displayed. (BC:26733)
68357 Added a new advanced settings option 'PCB.Routing.RoundedDPTransitions' that, when enabled, applies rounded miters at gap/width transitions during Any Angle diff pair interactive routing or rounded diff pair glossing/retracing, particularly at room boundaries.
68420 For a specific design, when copying a component (with defined die pads, bond finger pads, and bond wires as part of its footprint) and pasting it multiple times, attempting to then save the PCB document would result in the error "Duplicates not allowed..." being encountered.
68627 With the PCB.Performance.InteractivePropertyPanel.Optimization option enabled (Advanced Settings) and a component placed on a polar grid selected, the options associated with that grid (Range/Angle and Rotation) were missing from the Properties panel. (BC:26858)
68640 In some cases, with the PCB.Performance.InteractivePropertyPanel.Optimization option enabled (Advanced Settings) and after repouring a selected polygon pour multiple times from the Properties panel, switching to the 'Assign net' action and clicking back in the design space would result in the error "Value cannot be null. (Parameter 'source')" being encountered.
68661 The geometry (width and height) of rectangles used within PCB footprints was incorrectly altered (due to rounding errors) when the track width was specified in mm. (BC:26867, BC:26885)
PCB CoDesign
67921 In some cases when working with the PCB CoDesign feature, after completion of a comparison an error relating to a memory leak (an assertion failure in file "Adv3D_GeometryMaker.pas") would be encountered.
Wire Bonding
62571 Added support for generation of a Wire Bonding Table Report from a panelized PCB document.
63094 The DRC check for Un-Routed Net violations was incorrectly being applied to bond wires. (BC:25803)
65571 Added a new advanced settings option 'PCB.Wirebonding.3DImprovements' that, when enabled, provides enhanced support for bond wires in the 3D view of a board. This includes additional editing controls for defining the shape/profile of a bond wire (with the ability to define an override color, facilitating being able to distinguish between different bond wire 'tiers' associated with different cycles of a wire bonding machine), the ability to place die pads and bond wires on generic 3D bodies, the inclusion of bond wire objects when exporting a PCB to STEP and Parasolid formats, and the inclusion of bond wire objects in Component Clearance checking, to detect clearance violations between bond wires and other (non bond wire) objects in the 3D space. Override colors used for bond wires in the PCB design are also taken into account when placing a board fabrication view, board assembly view and component view into a PCB manufacturing drawing. (BC:24977BC:25032)
66918 Bond wires and die pads are now displayed when viewing a panelized PCB document in 3D.
67554 When exporting a PCB featuring wire bonding to PDF3D format, the wire bonding elements (die pads and bond wires) were missing from the generated document. (Requires the PCB.Wirebonding.3DImprovements advanced settings option to be enabled). (BC:25032)
67657 On applying changes to constraints for a Wire Bonding design rule in the PCB Rules and Constraints Editor dialog, the rule was displayed as not having been saved (asterisk next to its name) and it was not possible to export and import rules. (BC:25810)
68042 A new 'IsBondwire' query keyword (PCB Object Type Check) is available, when constructing logical query expressions to use in the filtering of objects in a PCB/PcbLib or in the scoping of a design rule.
Multi-board Design
67619 Where multiple entries (representing linked components) exist on the same side of a custom part placed on a multi-board schematic document, attempting to multi-select entries and drag them, would result in the error "Unable to cast object..." being encountered. (BC:26133)
68331 The feature to use the Open CASCADE library for geometric modeling of a multi-board assembly document (*.MbaDoc), delivered by the System.MBAEngine.UseOpenCascade option (Advanced Settings), remains in Closed Beta but is now ON by default with this release.
68419 For a specific design, attempting to import changes from child projects into the multi-board schematic document, would result in an error when executing changes in the subsequent ECO.
Harness Design
61558 When placing a bundle in a layout drawing, the bundle now 'tracks' its drawn length, with the value entered into the Length field by default. When the Length field (actual physical length) is set and this differs to the drawn length, the bundle will display a break symbol at the center of its longest segment, to indicate that the bundle is Not to Scale (NTS). The 'Drawn Length' is displayed in the Properties panel, along with a new 'Add Break Symbol' option, providing the ability to control the display of the break symbol. (I:25610)
62933 After selecting a connection point (with no assigned objects) in a layout drawing, the 'Add' button associated to the Assigned Objects region of the Properties panel would display as 'disabled' until clicked. (BC:26250)
65333 In some cases, the drawing order of labels was incorrect for a layout drawing view placed in a harness manufacturing drawing document (HarDwf), compared with the source layout drawing document (LdrDoc), resulting in a label appearing 'behind' a bundle instead of in front of it. (BC:26470)
67904 In some cases when importing a component (connector) from a project's wiring diagram into its layout drawing, the associated connection point was created but pins were not automatically assigned, resulting in an empty bundle object.
Data Management
66497 In a specific case and when connected to a particular Altium 365 Workspace, the part choices displayed for a certain component were different when viewed between the Components and Properties panels.
66581 Added the ability (for those with assigned operational permission) to preserve lifecycle state when performing component synchronization between a Workspace and a component database.
67302 The part choices list for a component would be overwritten if the 'Part Choices Revision Control' option was enabled (on the Admin-Settings-Components page of the Workspace's browser interface) and changes to the part choices list made to that component (and released to a new revision), without restarting Altium Designer first.
67806 If the Document Path field was cleared/empty on the System - Default Locations page of the Preferences and Altium Designer restarted, opening a project from the connected Workspace (fresh, no local copy previously), modifying and attempting to save it back to the Workspace, would result in the error "Invalid URI: The format of the URI could not be determined..." being encountered.
67950 Azure SQL Schema tables were not accessible in Altium Designer's Custom Parts Provider Synchronization Configuration document (*.PrtSync), with the errors "ERROR [42000] [Microsoft][ODBC Driver 18 for SQL Server][SQL Server]Incorrect syntax near '`'" and "ERROR [42000] [Microsoft][ODBC Driver 18 for SQL Server][SQL Server]Statement(s) could not be prepared" being encountered. This was due to Altium Designer sending backticks (`) in a query, which the SQL Server/Azure SQL does not support.
68005 In a specific case, attempting to generate a Bill of Materials report from a PCB design project's ActiveBOM would result in the error "Unable to sort because the IComparer.Compare() method returns inconsistent results..." being encountered.
68011 Added a new advanced settings option 'EDMS.CustomOffersMerge' that, when enabled, merges supplier data from the Custom Parts Provider with the Altium Parts Provider (for a Workspace on the Altium Platform that has BOM Portal enabled) to present all supplier information combined, wherever supplier data (SPNs) is presented in the software UI.
68037 The 'BOM CoDesign' feature, delivered by the BOM.CoDesign option (Advanced Settings), is now officially made Public with this release (ON by default). In addition, the feature 'Including/Excluding Supplier Data in a BOM Comparison', delivered by the BOM.CoDesign.Comparison.IncludeSupplierData option (Advanced Settings), is also now officially made Public with this release (OFF by default).
68583 A default Workspace template was not being loaded when creating the associated new entity, if that template had been added through the Data Management - Templates page of the Preferences. (BC:26847)
Import/Export
62242 When importing a specific Allegro design, a particular 'net class' to 'net class' clearance design rule was missing from the PCB Rules and Constraints Editor in the generated PCB document. (Requires the Importer.Allegro.AdvancedEngine advanced settings option to be enabled).
63867 When importing a specific xDX Designer design, the project's library (*.lmc) could not be imported and an empty project was generated as a result.
66593 When importing an Allegro design, defined Differential Pairs Routing rules were missing from the PCB Rules and Constraints Editor in the generated PCB document. Instead, only a single rule was created with incorrect (default) values. (Requires the Importer.Allegro.AdvancedEngine advanced settings option to be enabled).
67177 Added a new advanced settings option 'Importer.Allegro.AdvancedEngine' that, when enabled, enhances the Allegro Import Wizard with support for the import of padstack-level solder and paste masks for pads (regular and custom shapes, including tented pads) and vias (involving the calculation of expansions and including tented sides).
67482 When importing an Allegro design, multiple net-level rules were being created for a design-level CSet, with identical values and varying priorities (for 'Spacing' and 'Same Net Spacing'), instead of a single 'All-All' rule. (Requires the Importer.Allegro.AdvancedEngine advanced settings option to be enabled).
67825 When importing a specific OrCAD design, the footprint linked to instances of a particular component on the generated schematic document was incorrect.

Version 26.1.1 Beta 2

Build: 7 Date: 27 November 2025

PCB
68253 The 'Graphite engine for rendering of PCB documents' feature has, at this time, been removed from Closed Beta, along with its associated option (PCB.GraphiteView).

Version 26.1.0

Build: 4 Date: 20 November 2025

Schematic
66529 Double-clicking on a placed component would correctly access the Properties panel with the Designator text selected, ready for change. However, double-clicking on a subsequent component would not result in the designator text being selected, but rather the cursor placed at the start of the field. (BC:25802)
67151

In some cases when working with a schematic document, crossing of signal harnesses under a compile mask (with the 'Display Cross-Overs' option enabled on the Schematic - General page of Preferences), would result in the error "EOleException: Index was outside the bounds of the array" being encountered.

67186 There was a noticeable delay in the loading of properties into the Properties panel when switching between symbols in a schematic library (.SchLib). (BC:25112)
67514 In some cases when switching between comments in a schematic, the error "Cannot set Visibility or call Show, ShowDialog, or WindowInteropHelper.EnsureHandle after a Window has closed" would be encountered.
67618 After making the name of a parameter visible in the design space, it would display twice while dragging that parameter to a different location.
PCB
52067 With Violation Overlay Style set to 'None (Layer Color)' and Overlay Zoom Out Behaviour set to 'Base Pattern Scales' (on the PCB Editor - DRC Violations Display page of the Preferences), opening or creating a PCB would result in an Access Violation (in module 'ADVPCB.DLL') being encountered. (BC:19367)
63635 There was a noticeable delay when starting to pan within the design space, when an interactive command (e.g. Move Object, Interactive Routing, etc...) was running.
64427 With the PCB.GraphiteView option enabled (Advanced Settings) and a board in 3D Layout Mode, use of the 'Show 3D Bodies' option (on the View Options tab of the View Configuration panel) or its associated shortcut (Shift+Z), to toggle visibility of 3D bodies in the design space, did not work.
64648 In some cases, and with the PCB.ViaInstancing option enabled (Advanced Settings), not all symbols were being displayed when electing to 'Show Drill Symbols' on a PCB in its 2D view.
64782 With the PCB.GraphiteView option enabled (Advanced Settings) and viewing a board/footprint in the PCB/PCB Library editor in 3D, results of using the measurement tool would present with text so small as to be barely visible.
65539 After adding comments to a PCB, switching to 3D viewing mode, changing to orthographic projection and rotating the PCB, would result in PCB artifacts being displayed.
65788 With the PCB.GraphiteView option enabled (Advanced Settings) and a board in 3D Layout Mode, its pads and vias were being presented in 'Perspective' projection, even though 'Orthographic' projection was enabled.
65828 With a polygonal-shaped object selected on a PCB and when using the Paste command from the right-click context menu in free space within the Outline Vertices section of the Properties panel, the error "Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation..." would be encountered.
65866 As part of the PCB.Performance.InteractivePropertyPanel.Optimization option (Advanced Settings), the Properties panel has been further enhanced when working with the Interactive Routing/Differential Pair Routing/Multi-Routing, Quick Routing, Interactive Sliding and Interactive Via Dragging features, to increase performance and optimize access to properties, especially with larger designs.
65971 Placing (or copying/pasting) from a PCBLIB to a PCB document did not follow the physical order of the layers, resulting in primitives being placed on the wrong layers on the PCB document. Note that as part of the fix for this issue, you must resave your PCB libraries using Altium Designer 22.11 or later.
65989 With the PCB.Performance.InteractivePropertyPanel.Optimization option enabled (Advanced Settings), it was not possible to import vertices for a selected room, from a CSV file, through the Properties panel.
66010 When routing to a pad that was previously impacted by running the 'Remove Unused Pad Shapes' feature, the missing annular ring was no longer being detected by DRC. (BC:24704)
66318 When using the PCB Library panel's 'Select All' command (on the right-click context menu), all footprints in the list would only be selected if the command was used on the first (top) footprint in the list.
66319 Design Rule Check (DRC) would incorrectly report Un-Routed Net violations on multiple SMT pads thermally connected to a polygon pour, when Thermal Relief was set to 'Auto' and overlapping Polygon Connect Style rules were present.
66345 With the new Advanced Polygon Pour Engine enabled (PCB.Polygon.AdvancedPour ON in Advanced Settings), it was not possible to maintain a defined 'Hole-to-Copper/Poly' clearance to be less than the defined 'TH Pad-to-Copper/Poly' clearance.
66420 With the PCB.GraphiteView option enabled (Advanced Settings), manipulation of a board in 3D Layout Mode using a 3D mouse (e.g., zoom, rotate, pan) was not working correctly.
66451 Extended the functionality of the advanced polygon pour engine, delivered by the PCB.Polygon.AdvancedPour and PCB.Polygon.AdvancedDynamicPour options (Advanced Settings) to now also apply to polygon pours with Fill Mode 'Hatched' or 'None'.
66537 Added the ability to configure ODB++ setup to protect intellectual property by restricting what is generated. Decide which signal layers to include, control whether the netlist is included and, if so, whether to neutralize net names (replacing with 'Net_[1-…]'), and control whether to include components, with possibility to remove component properties (parameters). Folder path information will also be removed from generated report ([Design name].REP) and rule (odb\user\[Design name].RUL) files. (I:18317)
66577 With the PCB.GraphiteView option enabled (Advanced Settings), via connection to a plane, represented as a cross in the middle of a via, was still visible even though visibility of the plane layer was disabled.
66678 In some cases when using the automatic diff pair length tuning tool to phase match between the sides of a differential pair, the actual measured Tooth Width of the generated sawtooth-based pattern differed from that specified in the Auto Tuning Process dialog. (BC:25941)
66687 With the PCB.GraphiteView option enabled (Advanced Settings), changes to Cursor Type and Cursor Color (on the PCB Editor - General page of the Preferences) were not being obeyed in the design space.
66690 With the PCB.Polygon.AdvancedPour option enabled (Advanced Settings), a placed 3D body was not visible in the PCB editor's design space.
66710 With the PCB.GraphiteView option enabled (Advanced Settings) and a board in 3D Layout Mode, keepouts defined as part of a component were incorrectly visible within the design space.
66720 Where a violation of a Z-Axis Clearance rule exists between polygon pours on different layers, voids will no longer be automatically generated when repouring one of these polygons.
66726 With the PCB.Performance.InteractivePropertyPanel.Optimization option disabled (Advanced Settings) and multiple parameters (component designators and/or comments) selected in the design space (or multiple components selected and clicking through to child Designator or Comment in the Properties panel), the Autoposition property and Value visibility control ('eye' button) were missing from the Properties panel. (BC:26018)
66784 With the PCB.GraphiteView option enabled (Advanced Settings) and a board that has been flipped opened in the background (i.e., is not the active document), attempting to re-launch Altium Designer would result in an Access Violation (in module 'GraphiteView.dll') being encountered.
66829 With the advanced polygon pour engine enabled (PCB.Polygon.AdvancedPour option in Advanced Settings), the 'Surround Pad With' option has now been removed when configuring a pour of type 'Hatched' or 'None' through the Properties panel. In addition, the preview images in the panel, for all three modes, have been updated.
66832 With the PCB.GraphiteView option enabled (Advanced Settings) and a board in 2D Layout Mode, after copy-pasting or moving a component, subsequent panning and zooming would result in parts of the pasted/moved component disappearing (at certain positions and zoom level).
66862 Added a new advanced settings option 'PCB.Performance.UseNetDelayCalculationCache' that, when enabled, saves/loads the calculated relative Delay for each type of primitive to/from cache, improving performance in Delay calculation when reopening a design and selecting a primitive for the first time.
66864 Extended the functionality of the advanced polygon pour engine, delivered by the PCB.Polygon.AdvancedPour and PCB.Polygon.AdvancedDynamicPour options (Advanced Settings), to now respect the Z-Axis Clearance rule.
66879 Delay values for nets and xSignals that included a length tuning pattern were not being calculated and were incorrectly displayed as 0 ps in both the Properties and PCB panels. (BC:26054)
66948 For a Clearance design rule defined through the PCB Rules and Constraints Editor dialog and where the clearance matrix contains differing values for primitive combinations, the Gap value in the Applicable Binary Rules dialog did not correctly reflect the clearance value defined for the selected primitives in the rule's clearance matrix.
67000 Extended the functionality of the advanced polygon pour engine, delivered by the PCB.Polygon.AdvancedPour and PCB.Polygon.AdvancedDynamicPour options (Advanced Settings), with support for applying and observing a defined same-net clearance rule between primitives within the same polygon pour. Note that this is a 'first step' implementation. (BC:1019)
67007 With the PCB.GraphiteView option enabled (Advanced Settings) and using the IPC Compliant Footprint Wizard to create a CAPAE footprint in a PCB Library (with 'Generate STEP Model Preview' enabled), the 3D preview of the footprint model was broken.
67023 With the PCB.Polygon.AdvancedPour option enabled (Advanced Settings) and the 'Repour Polygons After Modification' option enabled (on the PCB Editor - General page of Preferences), restoring shelved polygons would lead to an Access Violation (in module 'Altium.PCB.DataModel.X.dll') being encountered.
67027 In some cases, copying-pasting a rectangle and then attempting to change that pasted rectangle's size, would lead to an Access Violation (in module 'ADVPCB.DLL') being encountered. (BC:26086)
67094 With the PCB.DRC.OnlineOptimization option enabled (Advanced Settings), running a DRC for a rule class from within the PCB Rules And Violations panel would result in the violations for other rule classes becoming cleared.
67123 When exporting a PCB as a Specctra design file, the export process had, in some cases, become considerably slower.
67137 With the PCB.Polygon.AdvancedPour option enabled (Advanced Settings) and a footprint created in a PCB Library using the IPC Compliant Footprint Wizard (with the 'Generate STEP Model Preview' option enabled), the 3D body, when viewing the footprint preview in 2D (in the Wizard) and for the footprint in 2D Layout Mode (placed in the design space), was incorrectly sized.
67161 In some cases when working with a selected polygon pour, the error "Object accessed after being destroyed" would be encountered.
67207 When modifying the assigned layer numbers of existing Component Layer pairs in the PCB Library or PCB editors, Altium Designer new mechanical layers would be incorrectly generated. Deleting these layers would result in the associated Layer Type being lost, reverting to 'N/A'.
67224 It was not possible to gloss differential pairs with rounded corners (Hugging Style = Rounded) when the glossing Effort was set to Weak. (BC:26265)
67231 For a specific PCB and with the Advanced Polygon Pour Engine enabled (PCB.Polygon.AdvancedPour ON in Advanced Settings), attempting to generate ODB++ output (through an Output Job) would lead to an Access Violation (in module 'OUT_Odb.dll') being encountered.
67238 The 'PCB Properties Panel Optimizations' feature, delivered by the PCB.Performance.InteractivePropertyPanel.Optimization option (Advanced Settings), is now officially made Public with this release (ON by default).
67286 With the PCB.ViaInstancing option enabled (Advanced Settings), after changing the name of a net on the schematic side and pushing the change (through ECO) to the PCB, the old name for the net was still being displayed for a selected via associated to that net.
67466 Added a 'hand' cursor when panning (Right-Click, Hold&Drag) during an interactive process within a PCB document.
67531 Defined differential pair tuning patterns would be broken after saving, closing and reopening a PCB document, behaving instead like single-ended tuning patterns when attempting to modify.
67534 For a rigid-flex design with coverlay layers defined and added to a board region with assigned flex stack, setting the Active Layer field to a coverlay layer (on the Layers & Colors tab of the View Configuration panel) would result in Altium Designer becoming unresponsive. (BC:26402)
67571 In some cases, waived violations were no longer being displayed as waived in the PCB Rules And Violations panel, when the PCB.ViaInstancing advanced settings option was enabled. (BC:26422)
67815 With the PCB.Polygon.AdvancedPour and PCB.SplitPlanes.Pouring options enabled (Advanced Settings), layer data was being incorrectly generated in ODB++ fabrication data.
67894 In some cases when working within the Properties panel, the error "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" would be encountered.
67917 With the Pcb.Performance.InteractivePropertyPanel.Optimization option enabled (Advanced Settings), Y-axis coordinates were incorrect when exporting the 'Outline Vertices' grid (for a polygonal object) to a CSV file.
67954 For a specific design, vias were being moved to a different location when moving a selection of components and primitives, rather than keeping their position relative to the selected block.
PCB CoDesign
64925 For a specific PCB design, attempting to run the PCB Comparison feature would result in the error "System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object" being encountered.
67414 In some cases when running a comparison, the error "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" would be encountered.
Constraint Manager
64463 Introduced a ‘Class Filtering’ capability when working with the Clearances view. This enables the construction of filters (or groupings) of classes to allow switching between, and working with, focused sub-sets of the clearances matrix.
65702 When working with a Workspace project that uses Constraint Management, if the project's constraints.xml file was deleted locally (through Windows File Explorer), the Save to Server dialog would no longer appear when using the control (Save to Server) to save the project back to the Workspace.
65937 It is now possible to set/edit a Creepage value when multiple cells are selected in the Clearances Matrix. Changes made are reflected by the Creepage rule(s) being created/updated in the All Rules view (when the Constraint Manager is accessed from the PCB).
66146 For a parameter set associated to a signal harness whose directives have already been imported to the Constraint Manager, subsequent selection of the parameter set object on the schematic would result in the error "Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation..." being encountered. (BC:25707)
66590 Enhanced handling of clearance rules with custom query expressions when migrating from the older design rules system to the Constraint Manager. This includes better handling of rules with scope expressions targeting inner (mid) layers and ensuring such rules are made Advanced Rules (and not Basic Rules).
66788 For a specific design, attempting to access the Constraint Manager from a schematic document would result in the error "An item with the same key has already been added..." being encountered and subsequently all views becoming empty.
67392 After creating a new clearance rule in the Clearance view of the Constraint Manager, the interactive multi-routing tool did not respect the minimum clearance boundary during routing.
Draftsman
49410 For a specific project, the software would crash when updating the Draftsman document with changes from the PCB, then selecting a placed Ordinate dimension.
63602 When editing a Workspace Draftsman Document Template, placing a drill drawing view or a transmission line table would result in the error "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" being encountered. (BC:24492)
65278 Added support for importing DXF files including splines, into a manufacturing drawing document (.PCBDwf/.HarDwf/.MbDwf). (Requires the Draftsman.TeighaNet advanced settings option to be enabled).
Wire Bonding
63827 In the primitives region of the PCB panel (with a selected component in Components mode) and PCB Library panel (with a selected footprint), bond wires are now presented with the correct type (Bond Wire). Selecting a bond wire primitive will select/highlight that bond wire within the main design space. In addition, a corresponding "Show Bond Wires" option is now available on a region's right-click context menu, for toggling bond wire visibility.
63869 After running a DRC and browsing length violations for bond wires in the PCB Rules And Violations panel, those violations would unexpectedly have changed after saving-closing-reopening the PCB document.
3D-MID Design
65950 For a selected track, it was possible to type a new value into the Length field (in the Properties panel) which did not change the actual length. Resolving this, the Length field has been made non-editable.
67570 Added a new advanced settings option '3DLayout.DRC' that, when enabled, provides batch Design Rule Checking (DRC) for Width, Clearance, Length and Matched Lengths rule violations, in respect to routed tracks on your 3D substrate. Note that while a generated DRC report will provide information for all of these checks, only clearance violations will be highlighted within the main design space.
Multi-board Design
64949 Added the ability to define the 'Termination Type' for a selected harness entry on a multi-board schematic. Choose from 'Connector', 'Crimps/Ferrules' and 'Wire termination'. The information is reflected in the properties for the selected harness itself and in the properties for the selected corresponding module entry. (I:25312)
66922 Added a new advanced settings option 'System.MBAEngine.UseOpenCascade' that, when enabled, switches from using the C3D library for geometric modeling of a multi-board assembly document (*.MbaDoc) to using the Open CASCADE library. Note that when opening an older multi-board assembly document (from a previous version of the software) in this release (with the option enabled), created mates will be removed (you can choose between keeping relative positions of assembly parts or placing them in a line). You will have the option to create a backup of that older version at the time of opening.
67391 When using custom parts in a multi-board schematic, it was possible for the data to become corrupted, leading to data loss and experiencing one of various errors/crashes, depending on the nature and extent of the corruption.
Harness Design
61571 Added the ability to generate, through an OutputJob, a single Excel Workbook containing data for use by harness manufacturers. The generated Workbook includes sheets for ‘Bill of Materials’ (useful for quick quote generation), ‘Wiring List’ (for use with wire processing machines), ‘Labels’ (a summary of the physical labels to be printed for harness bundles, for use with Zebra or other printers) and ‘Coverings’ (a summary of the coverings to be applied over harness bundles). (I:25365)
63973 Harness wires connected with a wire break are now recognized even if they have different Design Item IDs. In addition, all wire segments with the same designator and connected by the same wire break are now compared (for part number, comment, color and all parameters) and, if any differences are found, a new 'Mismatched parameters in connected wire segments' violation will be reported. In conjunction, a conflict banner will appear in the Properties panel, offering the ability to synchronize all wire segments to use the same parameters as those of the chosen wire. (I:26785)
65569 Added the ability to apply/extend a covering over a junction point (a connection point in the layout drawing where two or more bundles come together). In addition, the start of a covering is now taken as the left-most, top-most point of its path, and that path now includes only the bundles the covering lays on. (I:24932)
66016 For a harness component with a defined crimp cavity whose part contained no symbol and one or more parameters with empty values, using the 'Update From Libraries' command would result in the error "System.ArgumentNullException: Value cannot be null. (Parameter "value")" being encountered.
66323 For wire, cable and covering entries in the ActiveBOM or a BOM Table in a manufacturing drawing document (*.HarDwf), the entry in the Quantity field is now 'As Required'.
66740 Enhanced the pin ordering for a wiring list placed in a harness manufacturing document. Now, for the connector with the most wires, automatic grouping is applied and all of its cavities are correctly grouped in the From column.
66741 After placing and configuring a connection table or wiring list in a harness manufacturing drawing document (*.HarDwf), a subsequent copy-paste of the object would result in the columns and other configured parameters being reset to their defaults. (BC:22637)
67130 For a wire break with a defined Wire Designator, the designator was not preserved when connecting a wire to that break.
67214 After locking the Length parameter for a selected bundle on a layout drawing, it was not possible to then unlock it again. (BC:26239)
Platform
65737 With this release, Altium Designer switches from using .NET 6 to .NET 8.
65961 Whenever required to sign in to your Altium account through your default Web browser (driven by the 'Unified Login' feature), Altium Designer will now automatically be presented (given focus) once the log-in process completes.
66989 When using a defined Windows environment variable in the Path for data backup (on the Data Management - Backup page of Preferences), the variable was incorrectly being recognized as a literal entry. On starting Altium Designer, this would lead to a dialog stating that the path did not exist. Note that actual backup of data to the defined path did operate correctly.
Data Management
59401 When a comment is added as part of a design review, a link to that review ('From <DesignReviewName>') is now presented in the contextual commenting window for that comment (within the design space).
63542 Cross-selection between a selected part on a schematic and the corresponding line in the project's ActiveBOM document, was not working. (BC:24441)
63990 For a specific component, it was not possible to open its associated data sheet from within the Manufacturer Part Search panel or Add Part Choices dialog.
64571 In some cases during poor internet connectivity, the warning "Push notifications service was not properly initialized. Connection Timeout" would appear and Altium Designer would become unresponsive, requiring termination through the Task Manager. (BC:24707)
64777 After adding a new column for a component type to the Manufacturer Part Search panel, that column was not visible until switching to another component type and back again.
64783 Added the ability to define and sync part choice information using the Components Synchronization feature and its related Components Synchronization Configuration document (*.CmpSync).
65063 In some cases when working with the Project Releaser, an Access Violation (in module "ProjectReleaser.dll") would be encountered.
65126 In some cases when generating a BOM report from an ActiveBOM, adding data columns from the source PCB would lead to the error "The method or operation is not implemented" being encountered.
65397 A new control “Refresh VCS Statuses” (with associated tool-tip warning) is now presented next to a project’s entry in the Projects panel if there is an issue connecting to a Workspace and the latest VCS states of project documents are not able to be refreshed. Once connection resumes, click the control to bring the VCS states back into sync and to see the latest changes.
65690 After changing the name of a connected Workspace, a PCB design's project file (*.PrjPcb) would still refer to the old Workspace name in any alternate parts defined for variants. The Variant Manager and the Item Manager would therefore incorrectly present the old naming.
66071 Added support for making a copy of a Workspace project (from the Projects panel's right-click context menu) using defined (and enabled) process workflows.
66123 In a specific case and when getting advanced part data from SiliconExpert for a selected part in the Manufacturer Part Search panel, the error "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" would be encountered. (BC:25701)
66241 After batch-updating the lifecycle state for all components in a design project, the first component's lifecycle was not updated at all. In addition, the display of the new lifecycle state for all other components was not refreshed until after a restart of the software.
66273 Where the Explorer panel is configured to present the Altium Content Vault ('Explorer.ShowContentVault' option enabled in the Advanced Settings dialog), the Library Health entry (in the listing of server folders) is no longer displayed.
66293 For a specific project, attempting to access its history would result in the catastrophic error "Object reference not set to an instance of an object..." being encountered. (BC:25786)
66358 Attempting to add a solution from a custom part provider source (defined in a connected Enterprise Server Workspace) to a component in an ActiveBom, using the 'Add Solution » Create/Edit Manufacturer Links' feature, would lead to the error "Failed to pull data" and result in the solution not being displayed for the component.
66419 When attempting to export the active Project History view for a project to PDF using the Smart PDF feature, the 'Current Document' option was incorrectly available for choice as the export target which, when enabled, led to an Access Violation (in module 'WorkspaceManager.DLL') being encountered.
66445 When attempting to create a harness template document in a connected Workspace without rights to create a folder, a crash would be encountered.
66510 In a specific case, trying to detach a project folder that did not have permissions inheritance enabled, when that folder was inside of a folder with inherit permissions enabled, resulted in an Access Violation being encountered.
66532 When saving the active PCB Library, with a single footprint, to a connected Workspace, the subsequent dialog had a typo for the intended word 'Planned' in its header ("Choose Planed Item Revision"). (BC:25864)
66683 After creating a component with a part choice through use of the Database to Workspace component synchronization (.CmpSync) feature, when editing that component in the Component editor (in its Single or Batch Component Editing modes), data for its part choice was not being displayed (description, associated supplier solutions (SPNs) and pricing).
66701 Added ability (for those with assigned operational permission) to preserve a model's current lifecycle state when releasing into a new revision.
66910 For multiple instances of a component being used in a design, changing the component to a different one, through the ActiveBOM, would not apply that change to all instances in the subsequent ECO. (BC:26132)
66964 In some cases when attempting to create a new Workspace Library component (via File » New » Component), the error "EOleException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object" would be encountered.
66978 For a component with an associated STEP file, the 3D model was missing from the preview window for the footprint in various places where a preview could be accessed (e.g., Components panel, Manufacturer Part Search panel and when editing the component in the Component editor). Additionally, components with STEP models would incorrectly be presented with extruded body shapes in the PCB editor’s 3D Layout Mode.
66995 Improved the performance of the Open Project dialog when loading the project folder view for projects in a connected Workspace and the user has access to many projects.
67002 To allow further development and rework, the 'Formal Design Reuse Blocks' feature has, at this time, been removed from Closed Beta, along with its associated option (System.DesignReuse2.0).
67003 Added a new advanced settings option 'UI.ModernDesignReusePanel' that, when enabled, uses the latest, enhanced Design Reuse panel when working with reuse blocks and snippets.
67009 Since nested reuse blocks are not supported, commands to place a reuse block have been removed from menus and the Active Bar in both the Schematic and PCB editors, after having created a new reuse block or when editing an existing one.
67074 When editing a component in the Component editor (in its Single or Batch Component Editing modes) and adding a part choice from a Custom Parts Provider, data for that part choice was not being displayed (description, associated supplier solutions (SPNs) and pricing).
67195 When a comment is added as part of a design review, a link to that review ('From <DesignReviewName>') is now presented within its corresponding entry in the Comments and Tasks panel.
67357 Added a new advanced settings option 'BOM.CoDesign.Comparison.IncludeSupplierData' that gives you control over whether or not supplier-related data is included in results when comparing an ActiveBOM with a selected Managed BOM, using the BOM CoDesign feature. When disabled, supplier-related data is excluded from the Differences section (on the Related BOMs tab of the Properties panel, when accessed from a project’s ActiveBOM document) and also in the generated comparison in the Altium Platform’s Web Viewer interface.
67410 Added support for additional unit-aware data types – Area (mm2), Bar (bar), Bit, Candela (cd), Decimal, Integer, Joule (J), Lumen (lm), Millimetre (mm), Pascal (Pa), Pounds per square inch (psi), Rotations per minute (rpm), Siemens (S), Tesla (T) – when defining a user parameter as part of a component template in a connected Workspace on the Altium Platform.
67803 Attempting to generate PDF data from a specific Output Job configuration file would result in Altium Designer freezing and needing to be terminated using the Windows Task Manager.
67948 For non-Workspace Library parts, after creation of a solution for a component in an ActiveBOM, SPNs relating to DigiKey were not being presented in the solutions region.
Import/Export
57602 When importing a specific, hierarchical KiCad design, components were missing from an imported child schematic sheet in the hierarchy.
61888 When importing a KiCad v.8 design, arc primitives were not being imported on the generated schematic documents.
61963 When importing a KiCad design, curved tracks were being imported incorrectly, with start and end angles for associated arcs inverted. (BC:20658)
63187 When importing a specific v8.x KiCad design, polygons were not being imported.
63467 When importing a KiCad design, the view of the PCB Documents (on the General Import Options page of the Import Wizard) was clipped and could not be adjusted, meaning it was not possible to review the output project structure.

65925 In some cases when importing an xDX Designer design, images were not being imported/displayed on a generated schematic document.
66138 When importing a specific Allegro design, the footprint pads of some components were not being imported correctly.
66139 When importing a specific Allegro design, board outline geometry was not being imported correctly into the generated PCB document.
66664 When importing an OrCAD design, Japanese (shift_jis charset) and Korean (hangeul charset) symbols in text were not being faithfully imported.
66961 When importing a specific OrCAD design, power port names would be incorrectly placed to overlap their associated symbol graphics, in the generated schematic documents.
67038 The Allegro2Altium.bat file, a batch file included in your Altium Designer installation and used to convert an Allegro binary (*.brd or *.dra) file to ASCII format (when such a design/library is not on the same PC as Altium Designer), has been improved to include all configuration files necessary for its use.
67084 In some cases when importing an Allegro design, text on a Silkscreen layer would be imported incorrectly.
67101 When importing a specific OrCAD design, some custom ports were appearing rotated in the generated schematic document and not visually connected to wires (even though they were actually connected to their relevant nets).
67106 In some cases when importing an OrCAD design, the designator and parameter for some components were being incorrectly placed overlapping on a generated schematic document.
67139 When importing an Allegro design containing a mechanical component with identical geometry defined on both top and bottom Silkscreen layers (at the library level), text on the Bottom Silkscreen layer would be incorrectly duplicated.
67143 The 'Import Detailed Allegro Pad Stack' feature, delivered by the Importer.Allegro.ReadPadLayers option (Advanced Settings), is now officially made Public with this release (ON by default).
67176 When importing a specific OrCAD design, a hidden parameter for a component was being incorrectly displayed on a generated schematic document.
67182 When importing an Allegro design, component values were incorrectly being displayed on silkscreen layers of the generated PCB document, even though visibility on these layers (for the 'Layers - Components - Comp value' sub-class) was disabled in the original design.
67585 When attempting to export a PCB to the Protel PCB 2.8 ASCII file format, an Access Violation "Object accessed after being destroyed" (in module 'ADVPCB.DLL') would be encountered.
Power Analyzer by Keysight
65355 When viewing the details for any network in an analysis report, the value presented for the 'Power Consumption for This Network' field was always displayed as "0 Watts", instead of the actual power consumption.
66130 When increasing the Work Temperature, the resulting Voltage Drop was incorrectly decreasing rather than also increasing. (BC:20248)
