Edit Altium Vault Connection

The Edit Altium Vault Connection dialog.

Summary

This dialog allows users to edit the server address for a selected Vault. While in the dialog, users can also test the Vault connection and make sure the assigned server address is accessible.

Access

From the Data Management - Vaults page of the Preferences dialog, select the desired Vault. To edit the Vault's connection and either double-click on the Vault or right-click and select Edit Connection to Vault.

Options/Controls

• Vault Server Address - Enter the desired Vault Server Address. To ensure the address is accessible, use the Test Connection button.
• Find Vaults on LAN - Click this link to quickly find an Altium Vault that has been installed on the company's Local Area Network.
• Use Alternative Credentials - Enable this option if you wish to login to the Vault using a different account than your login to Altium Designer.
• Test Connection - Click to ensure that the server address is accessible. A confirmation dialog will follow a successful test.
