Summary

This command allows you to change the fill color used for one or more selected design objects, where applicable.

Such attributes for one or more selected objects can be changed using the Properties panel - only those attributes common to all selected objects will be presented.

Access

This feature is available in the Schematic Editor only from the Formatting toolbar.

Use

First, ensure that the object whose fill color you wish to change is selected in the main design window.

Use the drop-down to choose from a list of predefined (basic) colors that you wish to apply to the selected design object. As you scroll through and choose different colors from the list, the corresponding fill color for the object's area will change accordingly.

Click the  button to the right of the drop-down to open the Choose Color dialog from where you can choose from a further range of standard colors or create your own customized color.

Tips

  1. This command will only be available if applicable to the currently selected object, i.e. it has a Fill Color property.
  2. You can select multiple objects to have their Fill Color changed using this feature but only when they are of the same type.
