The following pre-packaged resources, derived from this base command, are available:


Applied Parameters: ObjectKind=Document

Summary

This command is used to remove the active document from its parent project.

Access

This command is accessed from the active document's editor by choosing the Project » Remove from Project command, from the main menus.

Use

First, ensure that the document you wish to remove is the active document in the main design window.

After launching the command, a dialog will appear asking you to confirm the removal - click Yes. The active document will be removed from its parent project. It will remain open as the active document, but will now be a free document, rather than a project document.

Tips

  1. In the Projects panel, the entry for the document will be removed from its previous position within the structure for the project it was associated to, and will be moved under the Free Documents area.


Applied Parameters: ObjectKind=FocusedDocument

Summary

This command is used to remove the focused document - in the Projects panel - from its parent project. The document does not need to be open.

Access

This command is accessed from the Projects panel by right-clicking on the entry for the required document and choosing the Remove from Project command, from the context menu.

Use

First, ensure that the document you wish to remove is the focused document in the Projects panel.

After launching the command, a dialog will appear asking you to confirm the removal - click Yes. The focused document will be removed from its parent project.

Tips

  1. In the Projects panel - if the document is not open, it will be removed completely. If the document is open, it will be removed from the project and become a free document - moved under the Free Documents area.


Applied Parameters: ObjectKind=FocusedCategory

Summary

This command is used to remove all documents - within the focused category (sub-folder) in the Projects panel - from their parent project.

Access

This command is accessed from the Projects panel by right-clicking on the entry for the required category (sub-folder) and choosing the Remove All command, from the context menu.

Use

First, ensure that the sub-folder whose documents you wish to remove is focused in the Projects panel. Focus is given simply by clicking once on the folder's entry.

After launching the command, a dialog will appear asking you to confirm the removal - click Yes. All documents residing within the focused sub-folder, or descendant folders thereof, will be removed from the parent project.

Tips

  1. In the Projects panel - if a document is not open, it will be removed completely. If a document is open, it will be removed from the project and become a free document - moved under the Free Documents area.


Applied Parameters: ObjectKind=OutputSingle

Summary

This command is used to delete the currently selected output(s) from the active Output Job Configuration file.

Access

With the required output(s) selected, this command can be accessed from the OutputJob Editor by:

  • Clicking the  button on the Job Manager Toolbar toolbar.
  • Using the Delete keyboard shortcut.
The command will only be available provided at least one output is currently selected.

Use

First, ensure that all outputs that you wish to include in the deletion, are selected in the main job configuration window.

After launching the command, a dialog will appear asking you to confirm the deletion. Click Yes to proceed - the selected outputs will be removed from the document.

Tips

  1. Use standard multi-select controls (Ctrl+click, Shift+click) to select multiple outputs.


Applied Parameters: ObjectKind=DatabaseLink

Summary

This command is used to permanently remove the selected component in the active DbLib/SVNDbLib file.

Access

This command is accessed from the Database Library Editor, and SVN Database Library Editor, by right-clicking on the required part on the Table Browser tab, and choosing the Delete Component command, from the context menu.

Use

First, ensure that the database table, containing the required part record, is selected in the Tables region of the main document window. Also, ensure that the Table Browser tab is the active tab.

After launching the command, a dialog will appear asking you to confirm the deletion. Click Yes to proceed - the selected part will be permanently deleted from its parent table in the database.
