Applied Parameters: ViewKind=Editor|Direction=Back
Summary
This command is used to cycle backward to the previous open tabbed document, making it the active document in the design workspace.
Access
This command is accessed from any editor, by using the Shift+Ctrl+Tab keyboard shortcut.
Use
After launching the command, the previous open tabbed document will become the active document in the design workspace.
Tips
- Documents are cycled by this command in accordance with the order in which they were originally opened.
- If a document has been hidden, it is ignored by this command. It is removed from its original position in the 'open order'. When it is unhidden, it is added to the 'open order' as if it were opened for the first time.
- If the Ctrl+Tab switches to the last active document option is enabled, on the System - View page of the Preferences dialog, the functionality of this shortcut is overridden, and using it will simply switch between the currently active document and the previously active document.
