The NEXUS design collaboration panel leverages social interaction between designers to keep team members in sync. NEXUS' web-based markup and commenting capability provides lightweight capability for everyone in the team to provide insights and ask questions about design intent and details. No download or installation required, and no need to learn a PCB tool - this capability works within any web-browser.
NEXUS server-side capabilities for data management, process management, and collaboration is securely hosted in the cloud, simplifying installation and setup and reducing the cost of maintaining your PCB design system. The PCB design capabilities are provided within a more traditional desktop client that connects to NEXUS cloud services, optimizing responsiveness of the application in the graphics and I/O intensive PCB design environment.
NEXUS cloud services include BOM cleanup and management, ensuring validity and availability of parts and allowing Design, Manufacturing, and Procurement to collaborate on a single electronic BOM document that is version controlled and managed. This increases visibility during the design process and reduces redesign based on manufacturability considerations.
