Welcome to Envision, a regularly updated collection of insights, news and views brought to you by the staff at Altium. Here’s the Envision team:

Rob Evans, Editor

Rob studied Electronic Engineering at RMIT in Melbourne, Australia. He has over 20 years experience in the electronics design and publishing industry including several years as Technical Editor for a major electronics magazine. Rob currently holds the position of Technical Editor at Altium Limited.

Marcelle Douglas, Contributing editor

Marcelle, Technical Editor at Altium, received a graduate degree in computer science from National University (San Diego, California). She has worked in the electronics design industry for the last 13 years and 20 years in the software industry. Marcelle is a dab hand at sword play, and is rarely crossed by any members of the team.

Phil Loughhead, Contributor

Phil studied Electrical Engineering at the University of Technology Sydney, while working for 10 years as a trainee and design engineer for a major Australian electronics company. Needing to broaden his horizons, he became a school teacher, and then joined Altium as a customer trainer, and trainee all-round technical guru. Living and breathing Altium’s software for more than a decade has given Phil a deep appreciation of the challenges of electronic product development today.
