
Aram Mirkazemi

As Chief Executive Officer, Aram is at the forefront of the development of Altium’s strategic direction and is responsible for leading the company’s global business strategy. Aram has a deep understanding of the EDA industry, accumulated through many years of being at the frontline of CAD software development. He also has a strong track record in financial management and stakeholder engagement. At the heart of his visionary approach to transform the electronics industry, is Altium’s strong financial performance and its ability to form strategic partnerships with other industry leaders. Under Aram’s leadership, Altium has become the fastest growing EDA company.
Aram has a long and influential history with Altium, having commenced his career with the company as Director of Research and Development from 1991-1999. Following a successful IPO in 1999, Aram left to explore his interest in web-based technology before returning to Altium in 2010 when he was appointed Head of Engineering, followed by Chief Technology Officer. Aram has held the role of CEO since January 2014 and has been an Executive Director of the Altium Board since 2012. Aram holds a Bachelor of Engineering Degree from the University of Tasmania, Australia.

Samuel Weiss
Non-Executive Chairman

Sam Weiss (AB, Harvard College; MS, Columbia University Business School, FAICD) joined the Altium Board as a Non-Executive Director on 1 January 2007 and was elected Chairman of the Board on 4 October of that year.
Sam is a highly experienced Company Chairman and Non-executive Director. He has been instrumental in the growth and leadership of Altium Limited over the past ten years as the Company has generated shareholder value through superior technology and strategy, capital and financial controls, and strong corporate governance. His experience in global markets has helped the Company on its journey to market leadership in electronics design for Printed Circuit Boards.
Sam is Chairman of 3PLearning Limited and former Chairman of Open Universities Australia Pty Ltd, The Benevolent Society and The Sydney Festival. He has been a Non-executive Director of Breville Group Limited, iProperty Group Limited and Oroton Group Limited. Sam brings to Altium more than twenty years of valuable Boardroom experience in remuneration policy and planning, people management and leadership development and global brand building as well as in depth knowledge of public and capital markets and the regulatory environment. Sam has lived and worked in Asia, the United States, Europe as well as Australia with executive roles in large multi-national corporations.

Sergey Kostinsky
President & Chief Technology Officer

As President, Sergey is responsible for driving optimal performance in all aspects of Altium’s execution including all product and go-to-market domains. Sergey has been the leader and architect of Altium’s technology development that underpins the company’s bid to achieve market dominance and transform the electronics industry. Under Sergey’s leadership, Altium’s PCB design tools have become world class and the company’s cloud platform Altium 365 is set to revolutionize the way that electronic products are designed and manufactured.
Sergey has 20 years of extensive experience at a senior management level in CAD software development and web-based technology. Prior to rejoining Altium as VP Engineering in 2010, Sergey served as Director of Product Development of Morfik Technology. Sergey was also one of the founding members of Dream Company, a Ukraine component development company which was acquired by Altium in 2001. Sergey has been an Executive Director of the Altium Board since 2018. Sergey holds a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics from the National Technical University of Ukraine.

Raelene Murphy
Non-Executive Director
BBus, FCA, GAICD
Raelene Murphy, BBus, FCA, GAICD was appointed to the Altium Board on the 21 Sept 2016. Raelene is highly experienced in driving financial and operational performance as an executive, advisor and non-executive director in a number of industry sectors in the private and public arena. In particular her expertise has been in M&A and post-acquisition integration, two areas that are germane to the strategic plans of Altium.
During her career, Raelene has been a partner at a national accounting firm, Finance Director of the Davenport Group and CEO of the Delta Group. More recently, she served as Managing Director of 333 Management, a part of KordaMentha where she was a lead partner on the Federal Government strategic review of the NBN.
Raelene is also a non-executive director of ASX listed Bega Cheese Limited, Service Stream Limited and Integral Diagnostics Limited. She is a former director of EVZ Limited, Tassal Group Limited and Deputy Chairman of the DOXA Youth Foundation.
Raelene is Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee.

Lynn Mickleburgh

Lynn joined the Altium Board as a Non-executive Director on 1 March 2017, bringing experience gained at both Fortune 500 companies and in high growth SaaS companies. She was recently Head of Business Optimization at Atlassian Inc, and her prior experience includes VP Finance at Citrix Systems, various global and operational leadership roles at Adobe Systems, and Apple Computer.
Lynn has many years of experience in the transformation of software companies from their original business models of perpetual licenses to cloud-based service models. She brings valuable skills to the Altium Board in B2B multi-channel commerce for SMB and Enterprise customers, as well in building agile, scalable business platforms for operational efficiency. Lynn’s expertise includes emerging GTM business models, SaaS growth strategies, frictionless customer experiences; and, leveraging people, processes and technology to drive margin expansion. Lynn is also well versed in finance and accounting, corporate planning and reporting, data governance and M&A integrations.
Lynn holds a BSc (with Honours) in Mathematics from the University of Southampton in the UK and an MBA in Business Management from St. Edward’s University in the US.
Lynn is Chair of the Human Resources Committee and a member of the Audit and Risk Committee.
