Add Layer


Applied Parameters: Index=n (where n is in the range 0-15)

Summary

This feature is used to add a layer to the active Layer Stack. 

Access

This command can be accessed from the Layer Stack by:

  • Choosing the Edit » Add Layer command from the main menus then selecting the desired layer type from the sub-menu.

Use

After launching the command, the selected layer will be added to the active Layer Stack.

Tips

  1. Adding a copper layer will also add a dielectric layer when an existing adjacent layer is also a copper layer.
