FAQs

My current student license is good through November. Should I wait and apply then?

No need to wait—apply as soon as you’re ready. If accepted, your free Altium Designer license will start when you enter the program, and it will replace your existing license.

What if I only complete one badge?

You can still keep the badge you’ve earned, but you won’t receive the full Grad to Career completion certificate. To graduate from the program, you’ll need to complete all four levels: Emerging, Skilled, Advanced, and Expert.

How do I get my free Altium Designer license?

If you’re accepted into the program, we’ll send your license by email. Be sure to check your inbox and spam folder, and follow the activation instructions.

How do I access the training courses? Are they free?

Training is included at no cost for all Grad to Career participants. Once accepted, you’ll find your learning paths in your learner dashboard, along with instructions on how to get started.

Can I apply if I’m still in school?

This program is designed for individuals who have recently graduated. If you’re still in school, we recommend checking out our Student Lab, which is specifically tailored for current students. Once you’ve graduated, you’re more than welcome to come back and apply!

Do I need to finish one level before starting the next?

Yes—Grad to Career is designed to build your skills step by step. You’ll need to complete each level, earn your badge, and meet all requirements before moving on.

How long does the program take?

The pace is flexible. You can move through each level as quickly or slowly as your schedule allows, but you must finish all four phases to complete the program.

Who can I contact if I still have questions or need support?
