The following pre-packaged resources, derived from this base command, are available:


Applied Parameters: LaunchMode=RightClick

Summary

This command is used to modify the specific properties of the placed object currently under the cursor.

Access

This command is accessed from the PCB Editor and PCB Library Editor by right-clicking over a placed design object then choosing the Properties command from the context menu.

Use

After launching the command, the Properties panel will open (if not displayed already), loaded with the properties for the object. Use this to make the required property changes.

Tips

  1. If the Properties panel is already visible, selecting the object in the workspace will load the panel with that object's properties. If the panel is not currently visible, double-clicking on the placed object will make it visible and load it with that object's properties.
  2. Press F1 over an object to access information specific to that object type.


Applied Parameters: Object=Net|ContextObject=Net

Summary

This command is used to modify the properties of the net associated to the object currently under the cursor.

Access

This command is accessed from the PCB Editor by right-clicking over a placed design object then choosing the Net Actions » Properties command from the context menu.

Use

After launching the command, the Edit Net dialog will open. Use this dialog to modify the properties of the parent net to which the object is associated.

Tips

  1. The Edit Net dialog can also be accessed directly from the PCB panel. With the panel configured in Nets mode, double-click on the entry for a specific net in the Nets region (or right-click on the net entry then choose the Properties command from the context menu).


Applied Parameters: Action=RepourAllPolygons

Summary

This command is used to repour (rebuild) all polygon pours in the current document.

Access

This command is accessed from the PCB Editor by choosing the Tools » Polygon Pours » Repour All command from the main menus.

Use

After launching the command, all defined (and non-shelved) polygon pours in the active document will be repoured.

Tips

  1. Polygon pours can also be repoured through use of the Polygon Pour Manager dialog.


Applied Parameters: ContextObject=Polygon|Action=RepourAllPolygons

Summary

This command is used to repour (rebuild) all polygon pours in the current document.

Access

This command is accessed from the PCB Editor by right-clicking over a placed polygon pour object then choosing the Polygon Actions » Repour All command from the context menu.

Use

After launching the command, all defined (and non-shelved) polygon pours in the active document will be repoured.

Tips

  1. Polygon pours can also be repoured through use of the Polygon Pour Manager dialog.


Applied Parameters: Action=RepourPolygon

Summary

This command is used to repour (rebuild) all selected polygon pours in the current document.

Access

This command is accessed from the PCB Editor by choosing the Tools » Polygon Pours » Repour Selected command from the main menus.

Use

First, ensure that the polygon pours that you want to repour are selected in the main design workspace.

After launching the command, all selected polygon pours (and their dependents) in the active document will be repoured.

Tips

  1. Selected polygon pours can also be repoured through use of the Polygon Pour Manager dialog.


Applied Parameters: ContextObject=Polygon|Action=RepourPolygon

Summary

This command is used to repour (rebuild) all selected polygon pours in the current document.

Access

This command is accessed from the PCB Editor by right-clicking over a placed polygon pour object and choosing the Polygon Actions » Repour Selected command from the context menu.

Use

First, ensure that the polygon pours that you want to repour are selected in the main design workspace.

After launching the command, all selected polygon pours (and their dependents) in the active document will be repoured.

Summary

This command is used to repour (rebuild) all modified polygon pours in the current document.

Access

This command can be accessed from the PCB Editor by:

  • Choosing the Tools » Polygon Pours » Repour Modified command from the main menus.
  • Right-clicking over a placed polygon pour object and choosing the Polygon Actions » Repour Modified command from the context menu.

Use

After launching the command, all modified polygon pours in the active document will be repoured.

Tips

  1. A modified polygon pour is one that has been changed in some way, but has not yet been repoured. Its IsModified property - which can be seen from the PCB List panel for a selected polygon pour - is enabled (True).
  2. Modified polygon pours can also be repoured through use of the Polygon Pour Manager dialog.


Applied Parameters: Action=RepourViolatingPolygons

Summary

This command is used to repour (rebuild) all violating polygon pours in the current document.

Access

This command can be accessed from the PCB Editor by:

  • Choosing the Tools » Polygon Pours » Repour Violating Polygons command from the main menus.
  • Right-clicking over a placed polygon pour object and choosing the Polygon Actions » Repour Violating Polygons command from the context menu.

Use

After launching the command, all violating polygon pours in the active document will be repoured.

Tips

  1. Violating polygon pours can also be repoured through use of the Polygon Pour Manager dialog.
