Bumblebee Autonomous Systems

Team Bumblebee is a group of innovators from the National University of Singapore, who envision building autonomous systems of the future. As a multidisciplinary team of undergraduates, we design and build autonomous maritime vehicles capable of navigating underwater and on the water surface, performing complex tasks autonomously. We design intelligent systems robust to changing environmental conditions, achieving full autonomy with an advanced sensor suite and an array of powerful actuators.

Altium’s sponsorship has been a significant enabler for our team by allowing us to establish a structured, electronics design workflow that was sorely lacking prior to this. Through Altium 365, our team is able to collaborate seamlessly on complex PCB designs across many members in the team, even when working independently. Cloud-based project sharing via Git help ensure version conflicts and reduce integration errors that commonly arise in student-led projects.
