KA-RaceIng is a university group founded in 2006 at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and takes part in one of the largest international design competitions, Formula Student. In Formula Student, racing cars are developed and manufactured by students themselves. The team is made up of almost 70 students from a wide range of disciplines. In 2016, a milestone in the club's history was reached by winning the largest event - Formula Student Germany - in the electric vehicle category.
