For thirty years, University of Waterloo’s Midnight Sun Solar Team has been building next-generation solar vehicles to compete in the American Solar Challenge and World Solar Challenge. Now they face the difficult task of building their first cruiser class vehicle with the hopes of one day bringing solar cars to the mainstream consumer market.
