Team Starcraft

Since our foundation in 2006, Team Starcraft has been dedicated todeveloping, designing and building high-performance race cars to competeagainst other teams in the Formula Student competition.Our team consists of around 25 passionate students from TU Ilmenau,spanning several programmes of study, including mechanical and electricalengineering, computer science, media economics and media &communication science.

The intuitive workflow allows new team members to get used to the software very quickly. Our biggest project is the self-developed high-voltage SiC inverter. This is a complex multiboard assembly with many challenges, where we have to achieve good signal integrity and EMC while switching fast at 600 volts to reduce losses.
