UiS Aerospace

UiS Aerospace envisions a future where space technology and exploration contribute to solving critical challenges on Earth. By developing cutting-edge aerospace projects, we inspire future generations to pursue careers in science and technology. Our goal is to create an exciting, collaborative environment that attracts students to the University of Stavanger, fosters interdisciplinary teamwork, and provides hands-on experience in engineering challenges related to the development, production, and launch of rockets. Through these initiatives, we aim to contribute to society by nurturing the next generation of skilled technologists and ensuring their success in an evolving aerospace industry.

Our long-term ambition is to be the first Norwegian student organization to reach space with a self-developed rocket, putting UiS at the forefront of space innovation and establishing a legacy of academic excellence in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Through collaboration and practical experience, we aim to empower students to turn bold ideas into reality, advancing both their education and the global space industry.
