Innoptus Solar Team

The Innoptus Solar Team is a group of Belgian engineering students dedicated to building the most innovative and efficient solar-powered car. As the current world champion, with victories in Australia, South Africa, and Belgium, the team continuously pushes the boundaries of technology to develop a vehicle that showcases the potential of renewable energy and sustainable mobility.

With transportation responsible for 20-25% of global energy consumption and CO₂ emissions, fundamental changes are necessary. Our goal is not just to win races but to inspire the industry, promote renewable energy, and highlight the power of advanced engineering. By combining expertise with the support of leading partners, we aim to drive innovation, encourage interest in science and technology among young people, and foster entrepreneurship, proving that sustainability and performance can go hand in hand.
