Lyra

Lyra is a student-led nonprofit technology organization based in Oslo, focused on space technology, electronics, embedded systems, and interdisciplinary engineering projects. Our mission is to give students hands-on experience designing, building, testing, and documenting advanced technical systems, with a strong emphasis on satellite technology, PCB design, systems engineering, sustainability, and long-term knowledge transfer between student generations.

The Altium sponsorship has been highly valuable for Lyra by giving our student team access to professional PCB design tools for electronics, embedded systems, and space technology projects. It supports our work on satellite-related systems by enabling better schematic design, PCB layout, design review, and documentation. Just as importantly, it helps students gain hands-on experience with industry-standard engineering workflows, improving both technical quality and knowledge transfer within the organization.
