Pluton UPV is a multidisciplinary project carried out by students from the Polytechnic University of Valencia (Universitat Politècnica de València, UPV), with the objective to design, assemble, validate and test a 2U CubeSat. The project has a tally of approximately 30 students. The team is currently undergoing preliminary design for its first satellite, Estigia, while training its members on CubeSat subsystems’ analysis. The team is expected to have a preliminary design by Q4 2024 and a detailed design by Q3 2025. Launch is expected to occur no earlier than 2027.
