The following pre-packaged resources, derived from this base command, are available:


Applied Parameters: ObjectKind=FocusedDocument

Summary

This command is used to open an instance of Windows Explorer, at the location where the focused document is stored.

Access

This command is accessed by right-clicking over the entry for a document in the Projects panel, and choosing the Explore command from the context menu.

Use

After launching the command, an instance of Windows Explorer will be started and the folder in which the focused document is stored, will be presented.

Tips

  1. An entity in the Projects panel is focused either by clicking on it, or right-clicking on it. To distinguish it as being the focused entry, it appears with a blue border.


Applied Parameters: ObjectKind=FocusedProject

Summary

This command is used to open an instance of Windows Explorer, at the location where the focused project document is stored.

Access

This command is accessed by right-clicking over the entry for a project in the Projects panel, and choosing the Explore command from the context menu.

Use

After launching the command, an instance of Windows Explorer will be started and the folder in which the focused project document is stored, will be presented.

Applied Parameters: ObjectKind=Workspace

Summary

This command is used to open an instance of Windows Explorer, at the location where the design project group document (*.DsnWrk) is stored

Access

This command is accessed, provided the active design project group has been saved, by right-clicking over the entry for the design project group in the Projects panel, and choosing the Explore command from the context menu.

The design project group must already be saved before this command becomes available.

Use

After launching the command, an instance of Windows Explorer will be started and the folder in which the design project group document is stored, will be presented.


Applied Parameters: None

Summary

This command is used to open an instance of Windows Explorer, at the location where the focused item is stored.

Access

This command is accessed by clicking the  button, at the top of the Projects panel.

Use

First, ensure that the item that you want to explore to is the focused entry in the Projects panel.

After launching the command, an instance of Windows Explorer will be started and the folder in which the focused item is stored, will be presented.

Tips

  1. An entity in the Projects panel is focused either by clicking on it, or right-clicking on it. To distinguish it as being the focused entry, it appears with a blue border.
