Applied Parameters: ToolName=ClearVaultLinks

Summary

This command is used to clear the managed content server links for all components within the open document.

After running this command, the document will be saved.

Access

This command is accessed in the PCB Libray Editor and Schematic Library Editor by choosing the Tools » Clear Server Links command from the main menus.

Use

After launching the command, the Confirm Clear Vault Links dialog opens. Click Yes to clear the server links specified in the dialog; click No to exit from the dialog with no action.


Applied Parameters: ToolName=Extract3DModels

Summary

This command is used to extract and save any 3D models present in the components in the active PCB library. All Generic 3D Model formats are exported (STEP, Parasolid® and SOLIDWORKS®). Altium NEXUS 3D Body objects are not exported.

Running this command will open the Generate 3D Model Files from PCB Libraries dialog.

Access

This command is accessed in the PCB Libray Editor by choosing the Tools » Extract 3D Models command from the main menus.

Use

After launching the command, the Generate 3D Model Files from PCB Libraries dialog will open. Specify the destination folder then click OK to extract the models. Each model will be written to a separate file.
