Summary

The Content Types dialog allows you to select and enable the desired content type(s) for use in the Edit Lifecycle Definitions and Edit Revision Naming Schemes dialogs.

Access

From the Edit Lifecycle Definitions dialogLifecycle Definition dialogEdit Revision Naming Schemes dialog, or Revision Naming Scheme dialog, click the Content Types link on the upper-right.

Options/Controls

The controls are dependent upon how the dialog was accessed as outlined below.

When accessed from the Edit Lifecycle Definitions dialog:

  • Control Lifecycle Definition per Content Type – allows you to determine which content types are selected in the table below. To select content types for use in a lifecycle definition, enable the checkbox to the right of the desired option under the Use column. Disable the option for content types that are not desired. The Use column can be edited only if the Control Lifecycle Definition per Content Type option is enabled.

When accessed from the Edit Revision Naming Schemes dialog:

  • Control Revision Naming Scheme per Content Type – allows you to determine which content types are selected in the table below. To select content types for use in a revision naming scheme, enable the checkbox to the right of the desired option under the Use column. Disable the option for content types that are not desired. The Use column can be edited only if the Control Revision Naming Scheme per Content Type option is enabled.
