Two variations of the Choose Object Class to Route dialog

This dialog is used to auto-route selected net classes or component classes.

The dialog is accessed in the following ways:

  • From the PCB editor, click Route » Auto Route » Net Class to access the Choose Net Classes to Route dialog.
  • From the PCB editor, click Route » Auto Route » Component Class to access the Choose Component Classes to Route dialog.

  • Main List - select a specific object class (such as a component class or net class) or multiple classes (by holding down the Ctrl key and selecting desired classes) then specify the connections routing mode. The autorouter will attempt to route connections associated with the selected object classes.

Connections Routing Mode

The Choose Component Classes to Route dialog includes an additional region in which you can configure the routing end for component classes.

  • One end is on a selected object - one of the routing ends is placed on the selected component.
  • Both ends are on selected objects - both routing ends are placed on the selected components.
