The following pre-packaged resource, derived from this base command, is available:

Applied Parameters: None

This command is used to remove a Y-axis from the active wave plot in the current chart.

This command can be accessed from the SimData Editor in the following ways:

  • Choose the Plot » Remove Y Axis command from the main menus.
  • Right-click on the Y-axis then choose the Delete Axis command from the context menu.

First, ensure that the wave plot from which you want to remove the Y-axis is made active in the Waveform Analysis window. This is achieved by clicking anywhere within the area of the wave plot.

Click on the specific Y-axis that you want to remove then launch the command; the selected Y-axis will be removed.

  • If the Number of Plots Visible option is set to All in the Document Options dialog (Tools » Document Options), the active wave plot is distinguished by a black solid line around its waveform name section. If the Number of Plots Visible option is set to 1, 2, 3, or 4, the active wave plot is distinguished by a black arrow at the left-hand side of its display area.
  • In order to view multiple Y-axes that have been defined, you must set the display option for the Number of Plots Visible to anything but All.
