The Edit Favorite dialog
Summary
The Edit Favorite dialog provides controls to edit the syntax of an expression that has been saved to a favorite expressions list. You also can edit how objects appear in the workspace after the expression has been run through the filter.
Access
From the Favorites tab of the Expression Manager dialog, click the Edit button.
Options/Controls
- Name - by default, Favorites are named
Favorite_#. Click in the text box and type to enter a customized name for the favorite. - Expression - click in the text box and type to make changes to the expression.
- Objects passing the filter - the following options affect objects that successfully pass the query filter:
- Select - enable this option to select objects that pass the filter.
- Zoom - enable this option to zoom in on objects that pass the filter.
- Objects not passing the filter - the following options affect objects that do not match the query and therefore do not pass the filter:
- Deselect - enable this option to deselect objects that do not pass the filter.
- Mask Out - enable this option to mask out objects that do not pass the filter.
