Tools Tab

The following common regions/commands can be accessed from the Tools tab. The image below displays the commands/regions from the schematic editor.

• The Update Parts To Latest Revision button is used to open the Update Parts dialog in which you can choose how to update components.
• Cross Probe is used to help locate objects in other editors by choosing the object in the current editor. 
• Use the Move and Align commands to properly place and arrange objects in your designs.
• The Configure Pin Swapping command (displays as Pin/Part Swapping in the PCB editor) allows you to configure pin and part swapping.
