Summary
This command is used to cut the selected component definition(s) from the active Component Library document and add them to the clipboard.
Access
With the required component definition(s) selected, this command can be accessed from the Component Library Editor when configured in Batch Editor mode by:
- Choosing the Edit » Cut Component command from the main menus.
- Right-clicking over a component definition in the selection, and choosing the Cut Component command from the context menu.
- Using the Shift+Ctrl+X keyboard shortcut.
If the Component Library Editor is currently in Single Component Editor mode, switch to the Batch Editor mode using the Tools » Switch to Batch Editor command.
Use
First, select the component definition(s) you want to cut. After launching the command, the selection will be removed from the main grid region of the document and copied to the clipboard.
