Parent page: PCB Commands

The following pre-packaged resource, derived from this base command, is available:

Applied Parameters: LayerPairIndex=n|Mode=RightClick (where n is in the range 0 to 20)

Summary

This command is used to quickly configure the drill table object under the cursor to display only drill holes for the indicated layer-pair. This allows you to use a single drill table object to interrogate drill information for different layer pairings during the design process for multi-layer boards that use layer-pair drilling.

Access

This command is accessed from the PCB Editor by right-clicking over the required drill table then selecting the required layer-pair from the Drill Table sub-menu.

When there is more than one layer-pair defined, the first entry on the menu will be Show All (LayerPairIndex=0). This allows you to present information for all drill holes in the design as separate tables.

Use

After launching the command, the Drill Table will dynamically update to present only drill holes associated to the chosen layer-pair or all drill holes if the Show All command is chosen.

Tips

  1. Use of this command sets the chosen layer-pair in the Layer Pairs field in the Properties section of the Properties panel when viewing the properties of the selected drill table.
  2. Selecting the Show All entry on the sub-menu is equivalent to setting the Layer Pairs field (when viewing the drill table's properties in the Properties panel) to All Layer Pairs (Composite table). If you want all information in a separate tables, this can be achieved through the Properties panel only by setting the Layer Pairs field to All Layer Pairs (Separate tables).
