The following pre-packaged resources, derived from this base command, are available:


Applied Parameters: Action=ShowFilterDialog

Summary

This command is used to access the snapping options.

For more information regarding Snapping Options, visit the PCB Grids System page.

Access

This command is accessed from the PCB and PCB Library editors by clicking the  on the Active Bar.

Use

After launching the command, a pop-up opens that displays all the available objects for snapping. 

Tips

  1. A selected object displays in blue; a non-selected object displays in gray.
  2. Select All Objects to choose all objects in the PCB.


Applied Parameters: Axes=Toggle

Summary

This command is used to toggle the Axes snapping options on or off.

For more information regarding Snapping Options, visit the PCB Grids System page.

Access

This command is accessed from the PCB and PCBLIB editors by clicking Ctrl+E, then selecting Axes. Once selected, the Axes button will become blue (on). When it is unselected, it will be gray (off).

Use

After launching the command, the Axes snapping option will be toggled on or off depending upon the status when the command was run.


Applied Parameters: Grids=Toggle

Summary

This command is used to toggle the Grids snapping options on or off.

Access

This command is accessed from the PCB and PCBLIB editors by clicking Ctrl+E, then selecting Grids. Once selected, the Grids button will become blue (on). When it is unselected, it will be gray (off).

Use

After launching the command, the Grids snapping option will be toggled on or off depending upon the status when the command was run.


Applied Parameters: Guides=Toggle

Summary

This command is used to toggle the Guides snapping options on or off.

Access

This command is accessed from the PCB and PCBLIB editors by clicking Ctrl+E, then selecting Guides. Once selected, the Guides button will become blue (on). When it is unselected, it will be gray (off).

Use

After launching the command, the Guides snapping option will be toggled on or off depending upon the status when the command was run.


Applied Parameters: TrackArcsVertexes=Toggle

Summary

This command is used to toggle the Track Vertices snapping options on or off.

Access

This command is accessed from the PCB and PCB Library editors by clicking Ctrl+E, then selecting Track Vertices. Once selected, the Track Vertices button will become blue (on). When it is unselected, it will be gray (off).

Use

After launching the command, the Track Vertices snapping option will be toggled on or off depending upon the status when the command was run.


Applied Parameters: TrackArcsLines=Toggle

Summary

This command is used to toggle the Track Lines snapping options on or off.

Access

This command is accessed from the PCB and PCB Library editors by clicking Ctrl+E, then selecting Track Lines. Once selected, the Track Lines button will become blue (on). When it is unselected, it will be gray (off).

Use

After launching the command, the Track Lines snapping option will be toggled on or off depending upon the status when the command was run.


Applied Parameters: Intersections=Toggle

Summary

This command is used to toggle the Intersections snapping options on or off.

Access

This command is accessed from the PCB and PCB Library editors by clicking Ctrl+E, then selecting Intersections. Once selected, the Intersections button will become blue (on). When it is unselected, it will be gray (off).

Use

After launching the command, the Intersections snapping option will be toggled on or off depending upon the status when the command was run.


Applied Parameters: PadCenters=Toggle

Summary

This command is used to toggle the Pad Centers snapping options on or off.

Access

This command is accessed from the PCB and PCB Library editors by clicking Ctrl+E, then selecting Pad Centers. Once selected, the Pad Centers button will become blue (on). When it is unselected, it will be gray (off).

Use

After launching the command, the Pad Centers snapping option will be toggled on or off depending upon the status when the command was run.


Applied Parameters: PadVertexes=Toggle

Summary

This command is used to toggle the Pad Vertices snapping options on or off.

Access

This command is accessed from the PCB and PCB Library editors by clicking Ctrl+E, then selecting Pad Vertices. Once selected, the Pad Vertices button will become blue (on). When it is unselected, it will be gray (off).

Use

After launching the command, the Pad Vertices snapping option will be toggled on or off depending upon the status when the command was run.


Applied Parameters: PadEdges=Toggle

Summary

This command is used to toggle the Pad Edges snapping options on or off.

Access

This command is accessed from the PCB and PCB Library editors by clicking Ctrl+E, then selecting Pad Edges. Once selected, the Pad Edges button will become blue (on). When it is unselected, it will be gray (off).

Use

After launching the command, the Pad Edges snapping option will be toggled on or off depending upon the status when the command was run.


Applied Parameters: ViaCenters=Toggle

Summary

This command is used to toggle the Via Centers snapping options on or off.

Access

This command is accessed from the PCB and PCB Library editors by clicking Ctrl+E, then selecting Via Centers. Once selected, the Via Centers button will become blue (on). When it is unselected, it will be gray (off).

Use

After launching the command, the Via Centers snapping option will be toggled on or off depending upon the status when the command was run.


Applied Parameters: RegionsPolygonsFills=Toggle

Summary

This command is used to toggle the Regions snapping options on or off.

Access

This command is accessed from the PCB and PCB Library editors by clicking Ctrl+E, then selecting Regions. Once selected, the Regions button will become blue (on). When it is unselected, it will be gray (off).

Use

After launching the command, the Regions snapping option will be toggled on or off depending upon the status when the command was run.


Applied Parameters: BoardShape=Toggle

Summary

This command is used to toggle the Board Shape snapping options on or off.

Access

This command is accessed from the PCB editor by clicking Ctrl+E, then selecting Board Shape. Once selected, the Board Shape button will become blue (on). When it is unselected, it will be gray (off).

Use

After launching the command, the Board Shape snapping option will be toggled on or off depending upon the status when the command was run.


Applied Parameters: FootprintOrigins=Toggle

Summary

This command is used to toggle the Footprint Origins snapping options on or off.

Access

This command is accessed from the PCB and PCB Library editors by clicking Ctrl+E, then selecting Footprint Origins. Once selected, the Footprint Origins button will become blue (on). When it is unselected, it will be gray (off).

Use

After launching the command, the Footprint Origins snapping option will be toggled on or off depending upon the status when the command was run.


Applied Parameters: 3DbodySnapPoints=Toggle

Summary

This command is used to toggle the 3D Body Snap Points snapping options on or off.

Access

This command is accessed from the PCB and PCB Library editors by clicking Ctrl+E, then selecting 3D Body Snap Points. Once selected, the 3D Body Snap Points button will become blue (on). When it is unselected, it will be gray (off).

Use

After launching the command, the 3D Body Snap Points snapping option will be toggled on or off depending upon the status when the command was run.


Applied Parameters: Texts=Toggle

Summary

This command is used to toggle the Texts snapping options on or off.

Access

This command is accessed from the PCB and PCB Library editors by clicking Ctrl+E, then selecting Texts. Once selected, the Texts button will become blue (on). When it is unselected, it will be gray (off).

Use

After launching the command, the Texts snapping option will be toggled on or off depending upon the status when the command was run.
