Applied Parameters: ReportKind=Component

Summary

This command is used to generate a report for the active PCB 2D/3D Component model in the current PCB Library document.

Access

This command is accessed from the PCB Library Editor by choosing the Reports » Component command from the main menus.

Use

After launching the command, the report will be generated (<PCBLibraryDocumentName>.CMP) in the same folder as the source PCB library document and will automatically be opened as the active document in the main design window. The report lists information including footprint dimensions and a breakdown of the primitive objects that constitute the footprint and the layers on which they reside.

Tips

  1. The report will be added to the Projects panel as a free document under the Documentation\Text Documents sub-folder.

Summary

This command is used to generate a report listing all PCB 2D/3D Component models in the current PCB Library document.

Access

This command is accessed from the PCB Library Editor by choosing the Reports » Library List command from the main menus.

Use

After launching the command, the report will be generated (<PCBLibraryDocumentName>.REP) in the same folder as the source PCB Library document and will automatically be opened as the active document in the main design window. The report summarizes the total number of component models in the library and lists all of the component models by name.

Tips

  1. The report will be added to the Projects panel as a free document under the Documentation\Text Documents sub-folder.
