Summary
This command is used to access the Properties panel for the active Draftsman document (*.PCBDwf). The panel presents a range of options that affect the active Draftsman document only. They can therefore collectively be thought of as local-level options.

Access
This command can be accessed from the PcbDrawing Editor by:
- Choosing the Tools » Document Options command from the main menus.
- Clicking the
button on the Drawing Document Standard toolbar.
- Right-clicking in the workspace and choosing the Document Options command from the context menu.
Use
First, ensure that the Draftsman document (*.PCBDwf) whose options you wish to modify, is open as the active document in the main design window, and that no design objects are currently selected in the workspace.
After launching the command, the Properties panel will appear. The panel allows you to define options that are specific to the active Draftsman document. The panel presents options across the following six sections:
- General - this section provides options for specifying the grids, sheet display, zoning information, and how not-fitted components are presented when documenting variants. Options are also provided for controlling the snapping functionality when moving primitives within the workspace.
- Source - this section provides options for specifying the source PCB, active variant, top and bottom assembly layers, and scaling.
- Parameters - this section lists the parameters that are available to use in the Draftsman document (in title block area and tables for example). These can be System/Project/PCB parameters currently defined, as well as your own custom parameters that you can add specifically for use in the active document.
- Page Options - this section provides options that affect the styling of sheets within the active Draftsman document only. Standard or custom sizes and border settings may be defined, or alternatively the settings from a predefined Draftsman Sheet Template (*.DwsDot) can be applied. Settings can be applied to the current sheet (page) of the document, or to all sheets in the document, using the
and 
buttons, at the top-right of the panel respectively.
- Line Styles - this section provides options for defining line thickness and dashing style for the available lines that can be placed on the document.
- Units - this section provides options for setting the primary and secondary (dual) units, and numeric vlaue and tolerance precisions, used for the document.
Make changes as required.
Tips
- All settings defined through the panel are saved with the active Draftsman document.
- With the exception of options within the Page Options section, all other defined options apply to the entire Draftsman document (so all of its constituent sheets).
