The Component Name Template dialog
Summary
The Component Name Template dialog provides controls to change the naming scheme for one or more components in the Component Library Editor (*.CmpLib).
Access
From the Component Library Editor, select one or more components from the bottom table, right-click then choose Operations » Rename Component from the context menu.
Options/Controls
- Initial Index - use to specify the base level Item, i.e. the starting point of the assigned Item ID range. If existing items in the target server already use the chosen item naming scheme, leave the index as 0 since the next available index in the scheme will automatically be used.
- Naming Scheme - by default, the dialog shows the naming scheme used in the Document Options dialog. Use the displayed scheme or enter a new one by typing in the text box.
