The PCB Editor - Mouse Wheel Configuration page of the Preferences dialog.
As its name suggests, the PCB Editor – Mouse Wheel Configuration page of the Preferences dialog provides numerous controls relating to the functionality of the Mouse Wheel Configuration feature within the PCB workspace.
The PCB Editor – Mouse Wheel Configuration page is part of the main Preferences dialog (DXP » Preferences) and is accessed by clicking the Mouse Wheel Configuration entry under the PCB Editor folder, in the left-hand pane of the dialog. Alternatively, right-click the PCB Editor, choose and run command Options » Mouse Configuration from the context menu.
Mouse Wheel Configuration
Mouse Wheel Configuration - This is a list of mouse-wheel configurations (a mouse that normally has a wheel between two mouse buttons) for various actions on a PCB document, e.g. Ctrl + Mouse wheel to zoom the main editing window. To modify the mouse-wheel configuration, toggle the Button Configuration options as desired for each action. You can use these options to configure any keyboard button combination (Ctrl and/or Shift and/or Alt) that is required to be used along with the mouse wheel function (as listed in the grid) to perform that action.
By default, even if all options are disabled, you may still scroll with the wheel vertically in any editor if the design is not filling the entire design space and can click the wheel while dragging your mouse to zoom in or out.
