The following pre-packaged resources, derived from this base command, are available:

Applied Parameters: Direction=Up|BigSteps=False

Summary

This feature enables you to use the keyboard to move the current selection (one or more selected design objects) upwards in the current document workspace, in increments of one snap grid unit.

Access

This command is accessed from the Schematic Editor, and Schematic Library Editor. With the required objects selected, simply use the Ctrl+Up Arrow keyboard shortcut.

Use

After launching the command, the selection will be moved upward in the workspace by one snap grid unit.

Use the command repeatedly to move the selection further upward.

Tips

  1. One snap grid unit is defined as being the value specified in the Grid field, in the General section of the Properties panel - which shows the options for the active schematic document when no objects are currently selected in the design workspace.

Applied Parameters: Direction=Down|BigSteps=False

Summary

This feature enables you to use the keyboard to move the current selection (one or more selected design objects) downwards in the current document workspace, in increments of one snap grid unit.

Access

This command is accessed from the Schematic Editor, and Schematic Library Editor. With the required objects selected, simply use the Ctrl+Down Arrow keyboard shortcut.

Use

After launching the command, the selection will be moved downward in the workspace by one snap grid unit.

Use the command repeatedly to move the selection further downward.

Tips

  1. One snap grid unit is defined as being the value specified in the Grid field, in the General section of the Properties panel - which shows the options for the active schematic document when no objects are currently selected in the design workspace.

Applied Parameters: Direction=Left|BigSteps=False

Summary

This feature enables you to use the keyboard to move the current selection (one or more selected design objects) to the left in the current document workspace, in increments of one snap grid unit.

Access

This command is accessed from the Schematic Editor, and Schematic Library Editor. With the required objects selected, simply use the Ctrl+Left Arrow keyboard shortcut.

Use

After launching the command, the selection will be moved to the left in the workspace by one snap grid unit.
